Bets on the real reason being that the PS3 can't handle displaying 3 party windows at once?

I think that in a week's time tops CT will be puggable with your eyes closed.
It is ridiculously easy, you can have people dying, disconnecting and calling names instead of explaining the first timers what to do, but at the end of the day, once you know every mechanic, there's so much room for error that it's not even funny. Took me over an hour in a completely random DF group where barely anyone had any experience to clear it for the first time, making every mistake possible. The next run (also DF) was done in a flash and felt like a steamroller, because it was a 2nd-3rd run in a row for all groups and people knew what to do and what to avoid. If several premade groups with coil/myth gear meet, they'll probably speedrun it, and a complete, 24-man coordinated raid will turn it into a snooze fest with flashy lights.

I can already see leavers, trolls and griefers (think intentional leeroy/screwing up on purpose) will be a bigger problem than the bosses.

That's probably one. Another reason could be technical, they have to see how Alliances would affect FATEs and other open world content.

I hate to say it, but it's already started. A little while ago I got out of a CT where I'm pretty sure one entire group was nothing but trolls/griefers. The other group was a bunch of douchebags (refused to enter the first boss room until we agreed to tank him in the center, kept yelling at people for "doing it wrong" even when there were no problems) but at least they weren't trolls or griefers.

I did CT once, it was horrid! Wise words from grumpy cat..

I won't be using CT until they fix this, SE need to start listening and stop babying there players, same with a few things like tells, using blist, using LS/FC options when in a duty. (crossserver blisting is possible there just to lazy to add it)

pretty sure that ps3 could handle the party windows since it does just fine with the alliance windows. but yeah no premade forget it. I tried it once and absolutely horrible. Will never run CT again till se fixes this. the gear vs the grief is just not worth it.
