There are these things called invisible walls. They act as content barriers to make content harder, and thereby making it last longer. This good people is one of those walls.

I'd rather have actually difficult content, than have content that is only hard because of communication barriers.
Yes me too, but you do see why they did this right?
I mean for those of us who have completed the current coil, if we did full partyies how long till we complete CT a week...two tops...
Then how long till we start carring people through.
Dont get me wrong I dont agree with this, just think the problem is far greater than premade parties.
There are deep design flaws that will really start showing post 2.1.
It feels like it should be easy enough to make a full premade group for Crystal Tower it's odd how they are limiting it in such a way where if they did put CS into the dungeon it's going to be hard for people to get through it.
They have the following options:
1: In Duty Finder when clicking on Crystal Tower offer a tab which ask to enter the name of a leader in another party to send them to Duty request, you can write up to two names on this list, they get a confirmation, both click yes, an instance is made and bam full group
2:Make an NPC that ask to designated the Leader of the group and then the other two leaders, after processing it sets them all up for Duty Finder.
3:Make an item that has a specific code attached to it, much like dynamis in XI, where you give the item to the leaders of each party joining in the crystal tower run and when the duty is setup using the item, the DF looks for the leaders in the world that have said item and authorizes them access to the same Duty.

It just feels like it should be easy enough to implement it's rather odd they are kinda kicking to the curb FCs that took the time to get more members looking forward to this content where more players could be involved. But now it feels like it'll be the same only 8 can come mentality which is a pity, since it would of been nice if everyone could of been involved but people will still be left out for a few months.
Now that 2.1 has been out, what do you guys think about not being able to have a premade of 24?
Ran this for the first time tonight with my Coil Static. First time we got grouped with 2 other Coil Statics from other servers...One leader took control, explained every battle concisely. We never wiped...only maybe 2 or 3 members of the alliance died through the whole thing. Got my FUMA on the first run too!
2nd run, same static and a FC who were all DL and I believe the other was a shout party.
No one listened...actually had a Leroy Jenkins moment as the other FC and us attempted to explain the strategy...one tank just ran into room aggroed all the Vassago and thought nothing of it. Also the shout party refused to kill adds on that Vassago fight as well.
We cleared both runs, first run was about 20 minutes faster. Basically if you have 3 parties that run Coil matched together, this should be cake...if you get the DB in AF and GC weapon shouting for Speed Runs and requiring relics... You're gonna have a bad time.
Ohhh...second run was a nightmare too because tanks were trying to pull adds off other tanks. It's like ok...there are plenty of adds, no reason to fight over em.

Still not a single word from SE about the 24 premade, really sad.
Actually CT has nothing funny with all the DF jerks.

Wow, the amount of QQ in this thread is too damn high.
Yoshi has stated it VERY clearly, the reason they were not able to implement 24 man premades is because they have not been able to finish the UI for it. Right now all they have is the CT UI, but they're trying to figure it out how to get it to work in the open world. It's not as easy as just copy + paste, the Alliance UI elements have a lot to contend with and could easily affect performance in the open world. Once they figure it out, we'll be able to make 24 man pre-mades.
Well, I did Crystal Tower for the first time tonight. I have to say, it's pretty fun. But, I think it would be amazingly fun if we had a full premade 24 man. There's a lot of frustration and angst from not being able to effectively communicate in the heat of battle, and we kind of felt like we were carrying one of the other parties. >.>
honestly i think its kinda lazy. i mean they had YEARS to figure out how to make a 24 man content out, its like they didnt bother with it till just now. seriously its like they forgot they even made 11 to take some pointer from, just add 6 more to the 11s 18 man stuff, or do it like Dynamis and einherjarWow, the amount of QQ in this thread is too damn high.
