Does not having a FC House hamper you in any shape, way or form during game play? No

It's a luxury item. it's NOT needed, and you obviously don't have to build the biggest house in the best land.

This is a long term investment, right now gil doesn't serve a purpose other than repairing gear, this will serve as a purpose for gil, if your FC is small, 4-8m for a house on most servers isn't that much for a group of people, people are threating this as personal housing, which is not.

625m on some legacy servers can look like it's overboard but MANY people have 10-15m lying around and rich ones have up to hundreds of millions, now, whether they want to spend it on a house or not is another different issue.

It kind of baffles me how many people are crying like little kids because they can't have it all right here, right now.

Housing is also a way to give your FC a name/reputation/whatever, making it so every FC, even the 1-5 person only (which seems to be like 90% of the people whining) is able to buy a medium-big house, would take it away from it.

Every single person I know on Balmung has less than 700k to their name. Most of us less than 400k. Even if every single person in my FC put our entire wallets into trying to purchase the house we could -barely- scrap together enough for a small house with everyone. This was supposed to be some great thing for FCs to enjoy and have, they've only been waving this carrot in front of our noses since relaunch only to yank it away and laugh with prices like these. This seems something more along the lines of a poor joke. Hopefully they will realize how absolutely stupid this pricing is and drop it by 80% or more.

Is everyone ONLY looking at the large first class plot, or something? 40m (4m on lowest ranked!) max to get a FC house...... there's 15 tiers, and I find it awesome that larger guilds - with more members and monies - can show off their size.

the FC I am in has over 100 members in its list.

These prices are insane, and is discriminatory to an anyone that deigned to play on a legacy server, painting us all with the same brush, when our economies are suffering from lack of crafted items that are relevant to high level play.

and this was a highly advertised feature, with its own systems and ways to design the place. People were really looking forward to it. But not now.

Because it's an awesome idea to take all your FC member's money to get a room that's barely bigger than the inn. It's ok though, if everyone bring their own HQ cardboard boxes, we'll be able to fit everyone in the company in the house, just need to stack them boxes all the way to the ceiling.

whats this going to be like when personal housing goes live in 6-10 months? 40 million for a small? housing at these prices makes it way exclusive and will do nothing buy encourage the RMT.

The fact is, this could have been done so differently with no need to punish players who happen to be on a server with people that hold a lot of Gil.

In 1.0 i farmed my butt off and accumulated 100Mil. I was totally fine with the re-numeration down to 10Mil due to the promise of 2.0 economy using smaller numbers. Then this happens; so to come into 2.0 with enough Gil to buy a big house i would have had to have 6 characters with maximum Gil, that is: 6,000,000,000 Gil. Back then i would have had to farm and sell 1.2Mil rare Titanpiece Beastcoins (5k each)...

I know its designed for FCs to work together but being on a JP Legacy server with majority of members being new to the game; how are we to compete with these prices???
