This explains your attitude. You have no place in the argument, your housing is cheap. Our fc is working with the same gil you are but we have to pay 20mil for smallest.I have. On my server the most ghetto plot of land you can get is 4M. Now assuming your fc is 10 members. I consider this pretty small, and I don't know the minimum fc size is but I'll stick with 10. Each player chipping in the gil they earned from questing up until that point should be 250k per person. That's 2.5M, already over the halfway point. 12 WP runs get you 9 philo mats, which can get you 150k - 180 (ionno depends on server but this is the price on the least inflated one). There's your 4M gil. Or at least close to it.
The prices are made to have your fc make a team effort. Not solo it.
I just made a character on balmung, one of the most expensive servers (legacy). Vanya hat for 2M on market board? LOL. I see you have next to 0 understanding of economics.
Yea sorry what I shouldve said was that hardcore players probably account even more than half, I will say "most" to keep vague and make you happy about me not making up stats. Not sure what cave you live in but the balance between casual/hardcore has never been equal.Originally Posted by beeraga

Made up statistics are fun.
Alright I don't have the time nor the interest to go in every single server and take a look at how the economy is flowing.
Yoshii is not stupid. He has a threshold on the number of fc's + players that are getting their houses. Minimum threshold anyways. If he did in fact underestimate the server's economy, then he will simply drop the prices at a faster rate.
Let me guess, it's a penta-meld vanya?I just made a character on balmung, one of the most expensive servers (legacy). Vanya hat for 2M on market board? LOL. I see you have next to 0 understanding of economics.

FYI, a HQ vanya hat(casting) sells for under 225k on Sargatanas right now, and that's not even the worst part - it's taken more than 10 days to move the last 20 pieces sold, this comes out to 2 pcs sold on the entire server per day, because most people these days just make it themselves.
Now what do you think is going to happen with even more people trying to jump in to supply the non-existent market?
Of course it's a penta hat. Do you want to know what it costs on lamia? lol. I have been an active trader on ilv70 hq items. If you want to talk about no materia, I have seen 5 digit hq pieces sell in desperation because 100+K is "too expensive". But market board is whatever. In my server, people in MD are crafting ilv70 hq just for tips. That is where our server is at. That is why we pay only 4M gil. Even the endgame products come by as FREE.Let me guess, it's a penta-meld vanya?

edit: also I would be damned if I say a hq piece sell within 4 days on lamia. You are complaining about 2 per day? lol
this will kill the game first housing next other things
I'm not sure if you really understand what you just wrote, which frankly just supports my point.Of course it's a penta hat. Do you want to know what it costs on lamia? lol. The level of economic activity in this game is shit, it's terrible, because the fundamental resource/game mechanic/balance system behind it is utter crap. This limits the earning potential of the player population, remember, those two pieces of vanya would net their seller less than 50k in actual profit.
When you add in a pure money sink the size of that SE is doing, it will also heavily skew the supply/demand across the entire market. Coming from 7+ years of Eve, the level of sheer incompetence in understanding game economy displayed by SE is shocking.
I think you are not looking at this right. Market board might be dead on your server because people just make money shouting offers. You can't just say economy is shit just because official documents say you only sell 2 hq items per day. It can very much be alive still. I mean.. I have a full time job + overtime hours, I sign on to do a few things a day now. And I still have enough to finance my own house, down to some decorations. I just play the game, but still have 8 figure gil. I really can't imagine how inflated servers are..
In any case if they are wrong, they will change it. SE is not that stupid.
