Those who can afford housing can enjoy their solitude inside the housing zone that nobody goes to because 99% of the server cannot afford housing. I have to wonder if even those FC with the disposable cash to buy a plot will do so because of this. That's a large chunk of cash to put down on your very own piece of obscurity.

The bottom line is this: less accessible is bad for everyone. Housing is pretty much DOA for everyone because it is not going to be a status symbol if people never see it. As of 2.1 nobody cares about housing. It is just another blemish among the countless other blemishes in this MMO. End of story.

Morons love to complain without having a clue about what they're talking about, 5 seconds on the Internet should had told you that already. Honestly, 100 million is too cheap for a starting price considering the whole FC should be chipping in. The last thing I want is every single moron owning a house, would destroy the point of making gil (as well as server capacity). First-class housing should only be owned by some of the highest FC, not every freaking half-ass FC in the game. It should be something you can be proud of, show off, and work hard to achieve. If SE lower the price considerably due the whining of these selfish morons, I will quit the game.

I have. On my server the most ghetto plot of land you can get is 4M. Now assuming your fc is 10 members. I consider this pretty small, and I don't know the minimum fc size is but I'll stick with 10. Each player chipping in the gil they earned from questing up until that point should be 250k per person. That's 2.5M, already over the halfway point. 12 WP runs get you 9 philo mats, which can get you 150k - 180 (ionno depends on server but this is the price on the least inflated one). There's your 4M gil. Or at least close to it.

The prices are made to have your fc make a team effort. Not solo it.

1. RMT bot-farm and get FC to 6.
2. RMT sell house to player on website.
3. Player leaves his FC. Player joins RMT FC. Made leader.
4. RMT leaves FC. Player invites old FC members.

Tada. All you need is about $800 and you got a first class FC house.

I must Voice my Opinion as well SE. You have created this large Housing update and all this content, and now so few are ever going to experience it. Only a few FC's will be able to afford this.

You must rethink your Housing Prices. You are going to lose many Valuable players with this kind of move. I urge you to quickly discuss and reform this structure.
