    First you have to consider that they changed the current nm's to match the new battle system. Second they will just balance content with the buff's in mind makes sense to do it that way so it's really not a big deal.

    Now if the buff's are to OP when they new battle system is in place then there is rooms for complaints but anything right now is simply invalid.

    Because it artificially boosts your stats based on an arbitrary number, and it rewards people for adding in afks, non-battle classes, and underranked people just to get the boost.


    The only "party bonus" you should be getting is the "bonus" for actually putting together a good party that works together and reinforces each others' strengths. Each new member adds his own contribution because of his own personal worth, not because "oh we just need one more person, I don't care who, for the party bonus".

    Party bonus should at least be restricted to some sort of distance. The buff should only be in effect when all members are operational and in the same area.

    I could get a bunch of mules to party with me so I could solo better than anyone else my level range. Unfair advantage if you ask me.

    Once again, this isn't made for the content you have today. An AFK player in a full party dungeon will most likely do you more harm than good. An AFK player when the mobs are rebalanced will most likely cause your party to wipe. They are clearly building the game in two phases now, one for solo play or smaller duo/trio parties and one for light and full party play, in order to separate the balance of the two and make party play more challenging and rewarding they give you party boosts...not a big deal. There is nothing more to argue here, I've said my piece and I have nothing more to say, this subject already bored me, but think about it.

    FYI, what you just wrote doesn't refute any of the points I made.

    You're still getting an undeserved bonus based on arbitrary parameters, regardless of the existence of dungeons or not.

    The buffs really don't give much just acc and hp/mp. How about this would you be more happy if they removed the party buff then gave us back the hp and mp they took away that one update <.<.

    I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders.     Yes, I know what you were trying to do, and because your own points do not show how the light/full party buff is actually worthwhile, and because they do not address my points about how the light/full party buffs are meaningless, that shows how your points are irrelevant.

    does not provide any kind of justification as to how an arbitrary stat buff is supposed to "make party play more challenging and rewarding".

    Gameplay is exactly the same with or without it. The only difference is that with a light/full party buff, you are being rewarded just on the "merit" of having 4 or 8 people, nothing more.
