I was waiting on WildStar but then I saw that "incoming aoe will happen here" easy mode bull nyerk. So now I'm just waiting on Blade and Soul and or Everquest Next >:3 Hopefully though, SE will make more challenging content and not just more "dodge this aoe" fights.

everquest next is second on my list, but i cant pay for them both at the same time, thank you beta signups!
anyway i can bet that the next reply to either of us will probably be a "lol we need to have everything handed to us because we cant learn to play on our own and we must explain why you are so wrong for wanting some challenge in a game" post

Well, I could put that kind of reply in here, but it's clear that neither of you read any of my posts, nor are you interested in reading them.

Most of us in this thread that support story mode coil do NOT want gear, or rewards, just the story.

Personally, I've stated it before, many times in this thread (that you didn't read) I would not be playing this game if combat was this way in 1.0. Because I know I can't 'learn to play' and I admit that I don't want to spend the time required to do so. Not because I want everything handed to me, but because it's a freaking video game. Please, if I'm going to spend hours every day practicing something over and over, it's NOT going to be a video game.

And since when did having 'skill' (LOL) at a video game become something to be proud of, treasured and lorded above others?

no im just good at guessing what the next post will be, cause that's all most of this thread has been, i can give reasons all day and none of it was heard here in the end the staff went with the casual pandering route so fuck it i'll just play this as filler until archeage comes out its not like square has built this game to actually last.

You are talking to someone who would probably argue that ffVII should be nerfed because the northern cave is the hardest area in the game and holds key story elements somehow i doubt they will listen

In every game I have ever played, you have to work for the juicy parts of the story. I don't think its the "most important" part or else SE wouldn't have put it in a raid. Specially since Yoshi has said numerous times that he kept casuals and new players in mind.
