Can we please get a ranged limit break?

Now let's start by saying this thread is only indirectly related to BRD so your point is already practically moot.

But let's go into what's wrong with it anyway! First off, before BRD, people played 30 levels as an ancient long forgotten class called archer. This class is as much support as pugilist is a healer. Yet it too gets the healer limit break.

Unfortunately it is listed as a damage dealer thanks to the magical colourful stickers SE gave us to tell us what our role is. So when signing up for the duty finder hoping to get a class who deals damage, and by extension, has a limit break that deals damage, there is a chance we can get all our damage dealer party slots filled with people that use a healer limit break. Which brings us to the indirect relation to BRD. Both archer and bard are registered as damage dealers, NOT SUPPORT.

Seeing as they are listed as damage dealers you want their limit break to deal damage, even if it's indirect through a buff like others have suggested. What you don't want is a damage dealer who uses a healer limit break. It's basically like making cleric stance auto activate under party conditions for a CNJ/WHM.

Even if there was a "support" sticker for bard, I would expect it to have a supporting limit break, not just a healer one. And that still doesn't cover the fact that archer has a healer limit break which fits it as much as summoner's egi fit classic FF fans expectations of summons.
