I like this game, alot may I add. I was willing to over look "lack of content" such as ingame pvp, having coil have a lockout timer and large amounts of lag this game is plague with.
However, SE`s decision to add a lockout timer to CT was the final straw for me. Look I understand you do not create enough content to dish out every month, and content is only released every three (in this case 4) months.
I have some sort of solution for SE and its future game content. Ditch the 100% chance guarantee on boss drops.
Why not make CT/coil and future updates not have a lock out of a week, but instead rely HEAVILY on RNG for boss loots. Meaning .1% to get a RANDOM loot between the 8 classes already present ingame. (Weapons/Armor) in this case, instead of having a system that produces 100% guarantees that a weapon/armor will be produced once a chest is open.
The drop percentage doesn't even have to be .1 percent it could be higher, hell even lower. As long as we are able to run the dungeon as much times before we can get any loot is way more rewarding than a dungeon that grants 100% drops, but the way SE sets up the dungeon loot is really strange to me, sure it may be 100% chance youll get a loot from a boss chest, but the catch is that loot may not be for the class you currently are running.
Which is really flawed I must say because it creates this stupid lockout design that SE needs to place on players
These lock outs are hurting casuals and hardcore players because us players may log on literally for 1-3 days of the seven days to run a dungeon and then are forced to wait a WHOLE WEEK to do the same thing forcing us to not play the other 4 DAYS!
How about two modes? Casual and hardcore. Casuals can enter a dungeon with 100% guarantees, while hardcores are subjected to RNG. The catch? You cannot obtain loot from hardcore if you obtained it from casuals. Also if you obtain a loot from casuals you are locked out for 1 week until monday resets. Afterwards you have a choice of choosing to do casuals or hardcore once the reset applies.
However, if a player chooses to go with the casual route, you can enter hardcore\casual still but like I mention is subjected to 1 week loot lockouts, in the case that a friend would prefer running a dungeon as hardcore as opposed to casual.
Anyways I'm done with this game until lockouts are addressed, im kidding ill resub tomorrow, but pleaseme hates the lockout
