You realize this is worse than a monday only suggestion right? Sure people burn through all the content in 5 weeks.. then unsub for a couple of months. and during that time they likely found something else to do and wont come back. The idea is that you get enough limited options that you can rotate them to sustain interest over time but it takes time to get that amount of content developed, the problem is, all we have right now is myths and coil and that is done in one day. But then you'll upset the people who dont have the time to do all the stuff. so again, we are back at square one.. cry that there isnt enough to do, cry that it takes too much time to do stuff

The character lockout enforces the one day a week mentality. This will cause more people to quit than stay. They want something to do in game. Not clear the games content in one night a week and not log in the rest of the time. With the way I am talking about, you would have about 2 months worth of content per 3 month content patch.(running coil/ct/primals on every job every week) The way you are suggesting, we will only be playing 1 month of days in the 3 month period because we have little to do. (1 character doing coil/ct/primals on 1 job per week.) Hell it will not even get to that point, as people will dump it just like they have all the newer released mmos.
Blm - 50
Drg - 50
So Crystal Tower is yet another reason why the entire job system is completely pointless and you're better off leveling each job you want at 50 on a different character.
This is a huge disappointment, I was counting on CT making the armory system actually useful, instead it just makes it more useless.
And when new jobs come out it will be more lame with the way they are doing things. You will only be able to play each job at low gear level content, and will never be able to experience end game content as different jobs. If paying 3 dollars more on a sub is why they are doing character lockouts, I would gladly pay 5 more a month to be able to do all of it on 1 character...So Crystal Tower is yet another reason why the entire job system is completely pointless and you're better off leveling each job you want at 50 on a different character.

What they're doing with CT won't change that at all, it just reinforces that same mentality of "log in monday, do everything, logout" and it's going to stay that way for a long time until they introduce something new and fresh to the system because weekly locks do nothing but encourage people to sign out when they're finished.
So people are crying that you can't spam Crystal Tower for loot. But if you could spam it for loot, people would be done with the place in a week, and then cry that they are bored. Typical I guess
What a small portion of the player base does shouldn't affect the entire player base as a whole. If I wanted to run CT multiple times per week to get a few pieces of gear for one Job or multiple Jobs, I should be able to. It's not end game dungeon gear. It's gear meant to prepare you for the end game dungeon in case you don't want to farm Tomes for the lesser Darklight gear.
The simple fact is that if it truly does mean that you can only get 1 piece of gear from CT per week, it's nothing more than an artificial way to extend the content until patch 2.2.
