    If you had that kind of luck, it would be time to gear your second job. Unless you are DRG I don't see that happening lol.

    * The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.

    Joy, more lockouts. I've already had several friends quit because of them at this point, guess they won't be coming back. Hard to justify a sub with this sort of thing, even while cautiously hoping PvP doesn't suck.

    Get your Vanya/Gryphonskin/Darksteel, they'll be cheaper after the patch when they only cost 9 tome mats each. It's much more than is needed to run Coil, and you can meld a VIT IV in your accessories to have enough HP for turn 4-5. That's without using a single tome of myth gear.

    And if you claim you can get 7 pieces of gear per Coil run, well you'll be full geared for all 9 jobs soon enough, so why complain?

    From what he said it would appear that you can farm the Primals for accessories, the weapon is tied to the quest to defeat the Primals and that is the once a week deal, assuming the weapon is ilvl 90 it would be a great way to gear alts without spending a month of tome grinding to get a relic and then +1 it.

    I actually really like that idea, it saves up on myth tomes while at the same time giving your alts viable dps/stats to complete higher tier content, the problem still exists that with the lock your alt will not be able to attain top-tier gear without several months of investment, and that's per alt you wish to gear.
