SE you need to change Crystal Tower ivl55 requirement to ilvl70.

Ilvl70 may be a little bit to high for some but Since SE is suppose to make current content easier when newer content comes, I don't see why they couldn't just increase Phil Tomes to like 200per run or maybe even 250. Then it wouldn't take nearly as long to gear out in ilvl70.

As the title says..

This needs to be changed after hearing that Crystal Tower LOOT will be a weekly lockout. The only reason I can see that this restriction is put into place is so that players cannot burn through content make Darklight and ilvl70 gear obsolete. Even then I don't know.

If players were forced to equip themselves in ilvl70 gear, That would make them either have to get Darklight or crafted ilvl70 gear. As of now ilvl55 is so easy to get people are going to bypass Darklight/ilvl70 gear anyways.

Other than making Darklight/ilvl 70 gear not completely obsolete the only other reason I can see a Loot Lockout is to prolong 2.1 to 2.2.....


I made a thread about the loot lockout and I seen some others pop up. We have less than 2 weeks........ There is still enough time to make changes.

Also let me add to what you said raising the ilvl they do not need to adjust the content difficulty at all. Why? Because how many people are running around in gear that is already above the ilvl55 requirement? A lot, I for one am sitting at 9/11 ilvl90 pieces and I will be running CT on my MNK and I'm willing to bet a lot of other people are going to as well. So CT is going to get torn apart anyways regardless of ilvl requirements.

Primal weapons are kinda hard to get on alts though, and the ones you're gonna want CT gear for are more than likely gonna be the ones that are lesser geared. I know my bard has been rocking the ilvl 55 gc bow forever now, it'd suck to have to farm garuda over and over just to get a chance to gear up in CT.

You can buy ilvl70 weapons on the Market Board. You can buy everything ilvl70 and I'm sure by now everything is super cheap on all servers.

I just think i55 requirement is fine, what you're talking about is like a half mil or there abouts, not very 'super cheap' to those of use to don't spend 60% of our in-game time trying to make money. People already skip some DL pieces for myth anyways, its not that big a deal.

I would agree with you if they made the other new dungeon (Pharos Sirious-somethingsomething) drop i70 rather than 60, which everyone and their grandma should have full sets of for all classes now. As it is, the loot-lockout should be enough to keep people from skipping i70 altogether.

Its not even the ilvl I have an issue with its the fact that SE is putting a Lockout on Crystal Tower Loot once you get a piece your locked out for a week. And besides prolonging content and making DL/ilvl70 gear not obsolete I don't see the reason why there is a lockout.

That's the lame part the loot lockout isn't preventing people from skipping DL/ilvl70 gear. So if it was raised to ilvl70 it would force player to get darklight/ilvl70 crafted gear hence the gear would never become obsolete. So the way it sits now I can gear another job in WP/AK gear and get ilvl80 once a week and still skip DL/ilvl70 gear its just going to take months......

No way they will up the avg iLvl required because they would have to re-balance the whole thing since it would be too easy with everyone average ilvl of 70.

They would need to delay the patch to fulfill the OP's request.

LMAO really I'm pretty sure the majority of people are already going to be in at least full Darklight gear. Maybe not someone's alt class.

You realize that they delayed CT from launch to lower the difficulty, right?

If that's at me idk but yes. I was one of the people who wanted SE to make Crystal Tower harder and make the ilvl80 gear ilvl90 about 2 months ago.
