So, you refuse to make a simple search. You want people to digest and put into your mouth - and they must like it. They must not point that the information is everywhere.

    And we are the PITA?

I'm pretty sure it would have taken less time to search and read than to beat your head in the keyboard. Thanks for yet one more thread, though.

This. And not to mention the possibility of forfeiting your chance at the bonus from roulette for that day if your drop the instance (don't know if this has been discussed by development yet.)

Regardless, yeah, queues are longer now. Not only because there are less low level players, but also because FATE grinding nets you a lot more experience than doing dungeons.
This and not sure why you're getting offended by people telling you to read the 2.1 dev stuff first. The time spent telling other people you have a life outside the forums could have been time spent reading up on changes coming to the game since you clearly have some time now.

And no where under that is there any info on what the OP was asking.

What should to OP be looking for? The search on this sucks.
At the beginning it was rather easy for me to queue up with her in the lower end dungeons and get a group within 5 to 7 minutes...but now the lower end areas are ghost towns, with 5 to 6 people running around. We queued up for Hakkuke Manor (im pretty sure I spelled that wrong) and I did it as my healer. 45 minute queue times just looking for a tank.

Had to run Halitalai (again I'm sure I spelled that wrong) after for her class.. and hour and 12 minutes queue time..i was my healer and girlfriend a dps. She switched over to her Tank class after just to see, and i switched from healer to dps, and it was 45 minutes looking for a healer. Healer and tank combo still took 45 minutes to find 2 DD'S.

Are there any plans to do anything about this? Or for people who payed the extra money to have 8 characters per server just wasting their money. My girlfriend has resorted to fate grinding to 50 instead of doing the main quest line due to the over an hour wait times when she's soloing in the DF when we aren't online. SO instead of being able to do the main story in 2 or 3 weeks at her own pace, at this rate its gonna take much longer.

Tell us more about Duty Roulette.
A: *In-game footage of the Duty Roulette is shown in the video.
A: We've added a "Duty Roulette" tab to the Duty Finder. In this tab there are four categories: low level, high level, main scenario, and guildhests. On the right-hand side of the Duty Finder, when you queue up for the roulette, the rewards for completing the duty will be displayed. There will also be a reward bonus displayed, which will be earned when participating as a role that is in short supply. For example, if you are leveling your secondary character, once you hit level 16 the roulette will become available and I think your levels will go up quite quickly if you are a role that's in demand. We will also be adjusting the amount of experience points earned in dungeons in patch 2.1, so I believe dungeons will be a great option for efficient leveling. These bonuses can be earned once a day for each category, so you'll be able to earn a maximum of four bonuses in one day if you participate in all categories.
    • Low Level
      • Sastasha
      • The Tam-Tara Deepcroft
      • Copperbell Mines
      • The Bowl of Embers
      • Halatali
      • The Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak
      • Haukke Manor, Brayflox's Longstop
      • The Sunken Temple of Qarn
      • Cutter's Cry
      • The Stone Vigil
      • The Navel
      • Dzemael Darkhold
      • The Aurum Vale
      • The Howling Eye
      • Cape Westwind
When queuing up for Low Level, you'll be matched for which ever duty is immediately available. This is for both players looking to rechallenge dungeons and also for new players. Although the high level roulette is better for those seeking Allagan tomestones, players who've just hit level 50 but aren't up to challenging higher level duties are welcome to use the low level roulette and save up tomestones at their own pace.
    • High Level
      • The Wanderer's Palace
      • Amdapor Keep
      • Copperbell Mines (Hard)
      • Haukke Manor (Hard)
      • Pharos Sirius
Allagan tomestone bonuses will be granted for all instances after reaching level 50. Until level 50, players will receive only an experience points bonus, which also applies to rest experience.
    • Main Scenario
      • Castrum Meridianum
      • Praetorium
This is a way to reward players for helping others to complete the main scenario.
    • Guildhest
      • All available guildhests

Since guildhests are meant to serve as tutorials, no Allagan tomestones will be rewarded for their completion.
    ======================================

Practically with this SYSTEM in place,

You will have more ppl QUEING UP for the lower dungeons.

and Doing so will nett them rewards as well.

It basically answered the OP question.

I don't see the DF roulette really solving this problem. You only get the bonus once a day for each category (all low level dungeons are one category). People are not going to queue up for the DF roulette over and over, unless they were already queuing to do dungeons pre 2.1.

I even think most people are going to stick with FATE grinding most of the time, since it's the lazy way to 50.

Sounds like your server is dead in general.

I created a new char the other day and last night I was fate grinding near aelport with about 50 people.

I think it's not so much that certain areas are dead, but certain areas are preferred.

E.g. No one fate grinds near Camp Drybone because it's crappy compared to Lower Limnsa Noscea, so everyone is there. No one fates near Revenants Toll, because COsta Del Sol -> Coerthas -> Northern Than is just as good. So basically...

1-5: Solo this on mobs with hunting log.
    6-10: Do this with hunting log + 1 or 2 leve's
    10-20: Aleport Leves
    20-30: South Shroud (Quarrymill/Camp Tranquil)
    30-35: Costa Del Sol/Wine Port
    35-42/45: Coerthas
40-45: Reventants Toll Fate Grinding (Optional/Pending Groups there or not)
    42/45-50: Northern Than Fates
    -note
42-45 is best in mor dora* (Reventant's Toll), but if there is no one there doing fates then you can do 42-50 in northern than, it just takes about 1-2 hours longer.

    {Insert Dungeons/Quests Where Relevant}

I prefer to run a lot of dungeons, this being my 2nd char I'm not to concerned with speed leveling, just having fun.

Does the 'role in shortage' bonus applies to tomestones and can you get it more than once per day? If not, why would a level 50 tank roll a low level dungeon more than once?

That's a good question. I guess we'll find out in two weeks. The way it is written, my interruption is the the Tome values are static and there are additional bonuses for each type once daily. There is also a bonus for running in a need job, that is separate from the daily bonus.

Edit: After a re-read. the daily bonus only seems to be going to exp, tome values are static. but this one line is very interesting for people leveling.

Allagan tomestone bonuses will be granted for all instances after reaching level 50. Until level 50, players will receive only an experience points bonus, which also applies to rest experience.

That should be a nice boost to get people out of the fate zergs.
