New Characters, No Players

So this has probably been posted before but I didn't see anything that had straightforward answers so here it goes.

My girlfriend creates every single class separately, making each character unique and individual for each respective class.

I have been leveling alts with her on her new characters just to pass the time by and play the game together. She has almost 4 classes to 45 with one at 50.

At the beginning it was rather easy for me to queue up with her in the lower end dungeons and get a group within 5 to 7 minutes...but now the lower end areas are ghost towns, with 5 to 6 people running around. We queued up for Hakkuke Manor (im pretty sure I spelled that wrong) and I did it as my healer. 45 minute queue times just looking for a tank.

Had to run Halitalai (again I'm sure I spelled that wrong) after for her class.. and hour and 12 minutes queue time..i was my healer and girlfriend a dps. She switched over to her Tank class after just to see, and i switched from healer to dps, and it was 45 minutes looking for a healer. Healer and tank combo still took 45 minutes to find 2 DD'S.

Are there any plans to do anything about this? Or for people who payed the extra money to have 8 characters per server just wasting their money. My girlfriend has resorted to fate grinding to 50 instead of doing the main quest line due to the over an hour wait times when she's soloing in the DF when we aren't online. SO instead of being able to do the main story in 2 or 3 weeks at her own pace, at this rate its gonna take much longer.

Thoughts? Don't say to stick to one character, I've tried telling her that. She doesn't like that.

DF Roulette in 2.1? Not sure how low level of dungeons they're considering. For really low level, I wonder if my chocobo could tank.. >.>

I think you should have at least read the upcoming changes in 2.1 before blurting his thread.

There'll be the DF roulette, and since the prize is good enough, there'll be more people popping in all dungeons.

Perhaps you shouldn't post in other people threads if you are going to be quite the PITA with your responses. Not all of us live on the forums or see posts about "2.1 patch notes" someone of us do lead busy lives and can't visit the forums on a regular basis.

This sounds like its going to create more chaos to me. A random dungeon through DF which I'm sure will turn into "This dungeon again?? I'm out" which could also create LONGER queue times IMO.

Before you blurt out another post on this thread, consider that I do not live on the forums. I do not live on the lodestone. I do have a life. I do not have the issue the majority of people have complaining about lack of content stalking every piece of information that gets posted about new content. I do have other things to do. This is General Discussion. I am allowed to post and discuss, not to mention share my experience. Before blurting out, stop and think. You'll look less like an arrogant fool.

You don't have to live on the forums to read the top of the dev tracker. reading one post that was plainly visible would have prevented this thread.

Some will bail based on instance, that's for sure. But I think the majority will be less picky and more interested in being through the whole process (queue + completion) asap instead of being overly selective.

This. And not to mention the possibility of forfeiting your chance at the bonus from roulette for that day if your drop the instance (don't know if this has been discussed by development yet.)
