The HQ turn-ins are what make the triple turn-in leves so valuable. If you are not confident in your abilities to regularly HQ the items that you need, then, yes, stick to singles. When you can HQ with regular success, then switch to the triples.
I HQ pretty much all the time.

A triple turn in requires 9 items to get 3 rewards.
A single turn in requires 1 item to get 1 reward... so 9 items get 9 rewards.

If the reward is 10,000xp, and you turn in HQ you get 30,000xp.

    (tripler) 3 rewards X 30,000xp = 90,000xp for 9 items crafted
    (single) 9 rewards X 30,000xp = 270,000xp for 9 items crafted
In many cases the items are VERY similar

HOWEVER, the tripler gives 90,000 XP per leve, while a single turn in is only 30,000 XP per leve. Single turn ins are a "waste" of leves, but more efficient use of materials and time if you have leves to waste.

Hmmm, you raise a good point. That being said, you have made me question my use of triples for the DoH classes. Just out of curiosity though, can you get a DoH class all the way to 50 with 100 leves doing singles? I spend a lot of time crafting, so I have to consider the time involved in regenerating leves as well. Staying with the numbers in your example, after 9 leves one will have 270,000 exp from singles, and 810,000 from triples, plus all of the associated exp with having to make so many more items, since it requires 9 per leve instead of 1 per leve. This puts us at 81 items per 9 leves versus 9 items per 9 leves at several thousand exp per item.

    *EDIT*
As I think about this, of course the time spent actually making those 81 items needs to be considered. I'm going to have to look into this more.

Yes you can. I think it took me somewhere around 50-55 leve's to go from 1-50 on carpentry. Just depends of course but easily inside of a 100, can you space it so you can do 2 classes 1-50 in a 100 leve's, that might be more difficult.

On a side note, I purchased a lot of HQ food to do turn ins. I could make more money farming and making weaver gear to sell than it cost me to just buy up a bunch of HQ food to turn in for leve's. If you are smart and need the money if your doing a leve....so are other people. Make several extra HQ whatever's your turning in for leve for the market. You'll make a killllingggg. Made like 50k off one type of armor while leveling CRP because I just mass produced a leve turn in. Then some people caught on and I went from selling the item at 5000 each to only 500-1000.
