When you're sitting on 100 leve allowances its quite easy to buy 30 hq mythril ingots for 15k and get several levels in your craft and make 100% profit on your quests. I can't say I miss the exp I would have gained sitting there grinding on ingots when I'm getting over 60,000 exp for turning in one that I bought.
I have to admit buying is very nice when you're lazy or don't have time to make it. I got tired of crafting apple juice to level my culinary and checked my marketboard to find a lucky stack of 99 of them for 18gil each. Though crafting ingots 100% HQ would have net you 6k EXP while you're under the recipe level and you use all NQ mats means you're missing out on 180k EXP as well but it does save time.

At this point in the game, most people aren't running out of allowances anymore. I did triple turn in for my first few crafts but eventually, now that allowances are piling up and i'm almost always at cap, I just burned them all down using delivery leves. Leveled ALC from 16 to 50 in about 6 hours and only bought about 20-30k in materials (gathered the rest).

Delivery leves are the most efficient exp/time almost always. I prefer them over the triple turn-ins now. If i'm low on leves I just generally wait a few days and have 18-24 ready to go.

There is a small (albeit usually unnoticed) benefit of doing triple turn in leves - you get triple the leve rewards too.

For example, the Level 20 WVR leves. Doing a single turn in leve, rewards you with 4x Diremite Web, whereas a triple turn in leve rewards you with 12x Diremite Web in total.

Not a huge matter, but just pointing it out, just because it's Diremite Web. There may be some WVR leves which reward you with Fleece too, and given how players prefer to sell the web/fleece rather than use them to craft, that could potentially be additional income.

Yeah, it's no different that doing 3 separate leves, but if you are leveling several craft classes, you can use up leve allowances pretty fast. By using triple turn ins you triple your leveling capacity before having to wait for more.

If the concern on these are rewards/cost rather than XP, instead of saying only do single leves, you should be doing single leves that give the item rewards you want, and then grab the triple when that reward shifts to the one you want.

The only triples I would balk at doing are ones that ask for expensive ingredients (like Shark Oil and Pudding Flesh).

As a side note, I think the level 45 triple turnin leve in Mor Dhona for Armorer is Cobalt Ingots.

I just did the couriers, roughly an hour from start to all turned in for each bracket. They are pretty close to half the XP from triples for 1 item and a teleport. Singles in towns seemed like a waste unless you really want to burn through leves.

If you have a lot of leave to burn, I would go for the 1 item leaves as well
Then when you need to replenish your leaves, then only do triple ones

For the "harder" triple turn in, I would start at one level before turn in ability, so I was making parts for the 40 at 39 and I would do enough for 3 turn in, 27 items. By the time I got it all assembled and I was looking at 27 of whatever it was I was working for I would be half way to 42. Make the turn in runs and be in to 44, where I started the process again but for 45's.

As you pointed out, Armorer was the biggest parts push of them all but that just meant more experience points to me. I only did two turn in on High Mythril because by the time I got the 144 Ingots, 72 plates, I was almost 50. A few triple Cobalt and I was done. Lanolin, I had no break where I made Ingots, Plates, Armor. I preferred Armor over the Lanolin run.

One of the things I always did throughout was look for Vintage rewards in all Leve though and if one came up I took the Leve no matter what.

I personally do the triple turn ins if I really want to level up and I'm low on leves, otherwise, it's better to turn in single ones, more specifically the ones you pick up at the Grid/Limsa/Ulda and make you deliver the item to another town. I believe those give 120k~ per HQ turn in at lvl 40 and 150k~ per turn in at 45. I've level'd all my DOH classes with single turn ins, you can get from 30 - 50 with about 30~ leves if you do the single turn in highest exp leves, though it does require a lot of teleporting and walking.

Leather is wrong btw. those are not the best one. This is because leather has a lot of drop mats. and skins are usually lower xp/gil then their counter parts, aka you lose in shard cost and xp reward, and gil!

Armorer though, cobalt lvl 45 triple.

Weaver, leather, GSM also have all-npc lvl20 triples which are profits no matter how you look at it.
