I have not seen a SINGLE SYSTEM in the last 9 months that was rebuilt from anything up, much less the ground, except perhaps the targeting system (which they somehow made even worse).

Oh you mean like the 1.18 battle system, new job system and so forth?

If the game isn't fixed in 3 months, the game is essentially screwed.
If the battle patch is -really- good then -MAYBE- the game will pull through.
But just fixing battle wont fix this game.

I'm inclined to agree with this because at its current state TERA, GW2 and (god forbid) even SWTOR will face punch XIV so hard it will have no hopes in ever contending in the Q4 2011 MMO market. I'm really hoping Yoshi and the XIV team can pull something together.
