The prioritization argument is one made by fanboys/girls who won't admit to themselves this dev team is going nowhere with the game.

Simple as that

Even yoshi-p pointed out that there are different teams working on different things meaning that a good leader would have done the following:
-team to fix battle system
-team to redesign world (instead of create more generic zones and just put diff mobs in them which im betting is what will happen with the 'dungeons')
-team to implement mounts and airships
-team to implement company system
-team to fix economy

And then release everything at once if necessary.

Instead there was:
-team to implement quests that will not appeal to the mass gamer market
-team to fix the wards into something it should have been a week after the game came out
-team to implement companies by running lame lore stories months before any actual substance and remaking companies into some fame system instead of the "enhanced linkshells" they were supposed to be
-team to fix the battle system by changing jobs and whatever else we get .

Now im guessing its easy to say all this in hindsite and at the time the teams were made yoshi-p prob had to make some tough decisions. But its pretty fair to say this prioritization thing will be hit or miss.

If the game isn't fixed in 3 months, the game is essentially screwed.
If the battle patch is -really- good then -MAYBE- the game will pull through.
But just fixing battle wont fix this game.
