I agree with cairdeas, him and at times find ourselves on different sides of a debate but him nor I have ever trolle or griefed each other online. We share seperate views sometime and sometimes agree.

I would not call him a white knight though. he presents his ideas and discusses them. I still disagree with some of your thought on rdm though :P

Anyways when working on any project
the team needs priorities to get from start to finish.

You need to asses what needs to be done,and what within that job is most important and then consider time as well.
Any project being worked on you have to figure the cost of the project, and managing it as well. No matter how much we the community groan about things development has schedules and priorities and there is nothing we can do, until the thing we want becomes a priority.

No he don't have. It's just bitching on thing he don't have a clue. Why SE should even bother to give high priority to battle system, it's just a core mechanism ! Better focus on jumping, so everyone could be happier.
And btw, mount system IS a priority. Look yoshi's last letter, chocobos and more is coming this summer, not TBA

actually in the last letter they said:

A number of plans made at the beginning of the year will soon be ripe for release. Among these are the shiny new job system (a proper system, mind you, not just renamed classes), an in-game achievement system related to Lodestone character histories, and new modes of transport to address the mobility issue. Once our current plans progress to the next stage, I believe it’ll be possible to unveil a longer-term update schedule. (We’ve been giving chocobos a lot of thought, but it’s hard to establish a timeframe before we define exactly what needs to be done.)

Chocobo system is in the WORKS but no timeframe can be defined. They are however releasing other modes of transport (probably airship) before summer is out. EITHER WAY, it is coming. Things are being worked on that need to be worked on and the game isn't going be getting any worse. Only better.

His point is that some people prefer to have core things such as jumping, in game graphic settings, and such before any of the content, like dungeons is released. That's all. He didn't realize that without content at this point no one will keep playing. I know he is wrong, but in a perfect world, we would have all of this before they started to give us content.

Holy crap Vesp, you're ridiculous. It's not that we can't HAVE things, it's that we can't have them right friggin NOW. Are you seriously that self-entitled and immature that you cannot afford the mental capacity to wait it out? Yes yes I know, omg the game's been out 9 months, whatever whatever. It's also been through a lead change and restructuring, and they're in the process of changing everything. Wait it out or go play a single player RPG if you need your FF fix that badly, because to be honest you're bad for ANY community at this point.

Note, I come into this fully realizing that there's a LOT of shit wrong with this game, but I'd prefer to let the devs sort it out and fix it via mature suggestions along the proper channels than qq'ing on general every. single. day. about the same thing over and over and over and over... ad infinitum.
