Coil has no other difficulty setting. You either beat that version or you won't get to see the dragon. Unlike Titan, for example, where you can enjoy the hard/story mode if you can't get his strongest version.

To be honest if this is where the game is going, having to wait months and months to fight the bosses because I'm bad at action games, I guess I should really consider moving on. I honestly hope it won't be the case, though.

There are so many fallacious arguments here.
If you can\\'t meet X objective, you don\\'t deserve Y reward which is specifically a reward for meeting X objective.

Coil can be fully cleared in as little as an hour for experienced groups. You can spend as little as an hour a week learning easily memorized boss mechanics.

You are not out of luck, as long as you don't mind waiting. As newer, more challenging content is introduced, older content will be made easier so that a greater number of people are able to complete it. This means you too!

If anything people were gifted in this situation. These aren't relics anymore, they don't fit the rarity of a "relic."

The 1.0 quest was already borderline, but this is ridiculous now because everyone has them. Allagan weapons receiving the boost is the best thing that could have happened.

They are AF weapons essentially.

Again rarity is not a player problem its the dev for not making it harder or longer. So because they didn't do such a thing or because we all did whatever we had to do to get it they buff a weapon that makes it 2nd best totally going back in their word. No matter how you chop it up its wrong. Unless when they get the buff relic versa new chapter and increase.

Crucia, Regulos, Hammerknell, Greenscales Blight and River of Souls have no other difficulty setting for its raids. They have experts dungeons we are getting hard mode dungeons.

But in your OP you said its not your fault the devs didnt make them hard enough to get, now your saying its hard? Stop being butthurt that a weapon your not able to obtain as easily as a relic is better.
