#2: We need an efficient/planned repair system which we just need one or two craft class for self repairs, and if we can see auto-repair kits we should need or not a rebuild on materials?
Early today in this thread I've talked about a rebuild on armors,
I'd like to see some set of armors where just need one craft class to craft.
for exemple: the whole set being crafted and repaired by a Armorer, I mean Helm, Body, Hands, Feet, Belt and Legs (even if we need to upgrade a TAN legs).
I would expect it's partially because people don't quite know the scale of money yet in XIV versus XI. You'd pay 1-2k for a teleport in XI, 1k seems like a tip amount.
I think if XIV supported offering *both* money and the repair items then it'd be easier for repairers to waltz up and do the work, but in general it's a kludgy system and people are still trying to figure out how to best work within the confines.
Your repair kits idea would easily help mitigate that and make repair management far easier. +a zillion.

they just dont care
and alot of the time, if you mention it to them that "if you buy the material ill do your repair for free" they turn around and tell you "are you crazy, do you know how much thatl cost"
there is a stupidity to alot of them you wouldnt believe, and these are usualy the same people to complain first if they have to wait for anything they want

heres an idea that would take years to develop but would be cool.
since people are so die hard about zombie retainers, why not allow our retainers to assume our crafting role in our absense, put your guy in the repair ward with their corosponding craft icons and people can pay set prices for repairs from each retainer.
the owner will set the prices per armour rank and if its +1 etc. it would deffinitly put more use for the retainers to me... and since the current repair NPC doesnt have any animations, they wouldnt feel obligated to add any for the retainers.

I think it'd make even more sense if we could simply use the repair item offered to do the actual repair. If I didn't have to go find the mat, make the mat, etc, I'd be all about doing repairs for free for the sp.
Idea for repair offer
Now we can offer item as reward or money
SE can create a system where people that need repair can set in repair request the item needed. Adn crafter that try to repair automatically use offered item...
I had thought about that but then the problem is that the system is designed to give you "blah" as a reward, and putting the mats in the reward would mean you'd have to go get mats anyway. They'd have to have an optional section that says "I'll provide the materials" and allows them to put them in place.
Also, can you lose materials on a failed repair? If so, then that would essentially allow you to "troll" repair-seekers by intentionally trying to repair things you know you'd fail at.

so if you have 10 nuggets, itl take 10 nuggets from you and give people 10 tries before it falls off your list as a failed repair
but yes, people would mess with you on purpose and thered be complaining that people too low to do it succesfuly easily are trying to repair them for sp and eating up their materials
