Considering he said the instance was made clearable with people in their AF armor, and that most people playing will be in a mix of AK & DL at minimum, I doubt it will prove much of a challenge to complete anyhow. The iLVL 80 stuff should make the rest of endgame a tiny bit more approachable. Hopefully it isn't fugly as all hell.

And with the Item Level restrictions in place on the Duty Finder, it will be Impossible to have a party in there that is 'undergeared', you will only get people in correct gear for the Dungeon, or people that are overgeared for the Dungeon.

Doesn't matter geared or undergeared. The whole point of most FC with 24 or more members right now is to prepare for crystal tower and to play with man of the people we know, not to be forced to split up and go play with strangers.

You can give me a whole alliance with decked out myth/allagan/relic+1, but I'd rather pass to play with undergeared FC members. Again, people just wants to play with their friends, and gear check is not the main concern in this issue.

The full fc-raid feature will be at 2.2 no problem - I wanted Vanity slots at 2.1 too but what can ya do.

It's not a phobia to play new or unknown people, it's a desire to play with a large group of our friends. Something that we have been looking forward to about CT and has been pulled out from under us (for now)

You can say the same for the people who don't have enough friends to do 24 man content. Using your own logic, I can ask: Why do these people have such a phobia to go out and make friends? Why do they have to rely on duty finder to find friends for them?

Also if the point of an MMORPG isn't to play with my friends and guildmates then please drive that through my thick skull so I can disband my FC and unsub already.

2 scenarios that stick out immediately.

1) Group A- FC group. plays well together. knows each others strengths/weaknesses. run their section of the raid.
Group B- same as A
Group C- random DF mess. people rage quitting, trolling, etc.
with this setup, group A & B do their part for the raid and hit a road block waiting on group C to get its act together, find new party members, stop arguing, etc. so they can hit that switch to allow the progression of the other 2 groups. this will cause FC groups to eventually do...

2) 24 FC members try to enter the Q at the same time. enter. realize some are paired w strangers. someone takes the penalty and quits. so what you end up w at the end is 24 strangers running the entire thing. if the content ends up being like everything else but just split into 3 groups, this scares me even more. in every fight there seems to be very little wiggle room when it comes to 1 weak link. imagine how many weak links will occur w 24 strangers...

Why because he wants to play with his guild and not random bots or people that dont pay attention I cant blame him because its hard enough getting 8 people to listen in CM Prae etc. with 24 it is going to be crazy.
