Dude this game is horrid. Your telling me u enjoy fate grind another class. And when i do Coil on my Paladin . i can do it on my monk or healer cause its character not class locked.
This game does everything it can to punish ALT lvling. Not to mention the 100s of other things wrong

Yeah this was a re-release and yet 2.1 brought nothing new actually worth doing.
Im not going to wait a year for something decent. Fail Release.. A 2013 AAA Release should have produced more

New dungeons, Extreme mode primal fights, and a 24-man raid aren't worth doing??? Treasure hunting and Housing, not worth participating in??

And how would you prefer to level then? Same as you do in other games? Just grind quests and dungeons? Either way, as long as it's a MMO, you're going to grind one or the other. Oh, there's always the exp parties, grinding off of mobs too as a option. So, which is your flavor that'd make you happier?

Well you can brood on that all you want, it doesn't change the fact people enjoy what you don't. So maybe the rest of us ignorant masses, who enjoy "bad" things, will just continue having a good time. We'll have to leave it to you heroes of our time to make sure you stand up for us by dwelling upon your own misery. Continue paying for games you don't enjoy and continue paying for monthly subscriptions for them, maybe one day you will save us all...

Stufff on dungeons

So you don't like playing dungeons again because there isn't a WoW-achievement for finishing off a boss a cetain way. But this is counter to your mantra of doing stuff that only gets you myth.

There was PVP... period.

Too bad you're gonna hemorrhage gil for gear when it comes out. If only you had a crafter....

Leveling on Rift

And yet I can use the same gear on the monk as the archer. I'm not starting from scratch. You think Rift dungeons were good, they were TERRIBLE. You don't have to fate grind to level alts. Fate-gridning doesn't get you gear. So you fate-grind 20 levels-only to realize you don't have any gear, so you have to buy gear from those crafters again. I'm personally making a lot off these people.

You know what you need? Some lowbie friends. I grind my alts helping my friends who can't spend as much time playing this as I can. It keeps me very busy and happy.

Just throwing two of Gath's gil here. This is probably already responded to in this thread.

I think the game has more content than a single player game (where the former, we may be in and out of the game in 50 hours).

There are aspects that I love about this game and still look forward to my sessions within the game.

But like anything, if I start to get bored / tired of one activity over again, it's time to switch it up. It might be inefficient in the get-to-the-top-and-clear-the-hardest-dungeon-available plan. But it helps me keep the game alive longer.

And if it happens to be that you've reached this burnout / boredom point, I might recommend checking back in for only the major patches, but still maintaining your social connections so that you can jump back into the game with folks you know and enjoy the patch together. Then move on to the next thing yous all like to do together, even if it doesn't happen to be FFXIV that month.

This games story is the worst out of all the FF's I've played.
I'm not saying it's horrible but it's not that good at all in comparisons. It gets good when you're 40+.
[The whole Scion business, no spoilers.] It's sad that the ball finally gets rolling around that time.
And I admit, I had a lot of fun in my 40's.

Well I teared up at some parts of the story, I loved the story so much to me personally it's one of the best. ( Personally 7's story was meh to me).
