Except that there is. "There is no content" is a completely different statement than "there is no content that I like." The first 4 words are the same, the meaning is vastly different.

Also, saying "Does SE not realise their game has no content?" is saying that they should be thinking exactly like you are, otherwise they're wrong.

"There is no content" is a gratuitous use of hyberbole, and a rather belligerent one at that to illustrate his own thoughts on the subject, but it's not speaking for everyone. People need to stop walking on egg shells. At most, if you wanted to treat that as the argument in question and not hyperbole to make is own value judgment on the bigger issue you could say, "there's a puk outside Limsa" and be done with it.

What I'm saying is that had he phrased his opinion as an opinion rather than fact, we would be having an entirely different conversation. Phrasing is important. Instead of over 200 posts analyzing what the OP really meant, post 1 would have clearly got the OP's point across, and we'd probably be discussing how SE could add content that more people find relevant, quickly.

Blatant falsehoods are in this Thread Subject. Thats all some people were pointing out. They were just saying there IS content. Not a word was said to the effect that it was "good" content, "fun" content, or even "optimal" content, just that there was content.

I understand you dont find all the content in the game to be something you enjoy, I can accept that. But there is content there and more is coming. Whether or not its content that interests you or not, it is coming and it is there right now.

Remember folks, its a game and games are meant to be fun. Once its not fun anymore, you should find something else to do. Getting this upset over a game is rather silly.

I still have to question why people complain so much about FATEs being the only way to level, when it's actually not... and even more jaw-dropping, it's not the fastest way to level for nearly all levels. Exp parties are still the reigning champion for speed to level. Throw in a nearby FATE or two if you want to change it up.

Seriously, I don't really understand how an MMO can release with less content then most single player RPGs. Even if the game was released with the content being brought in 2.1, there's still such a ridiculous lack of time filling activities. Any player with more then 5 hours a week to play this game has pretty much already completed everything it has to offer and they arn't even releasing any harder end game content in the next patch. And yes, we all know about the EXTREME primals. But seriously, 4 more bosses with pretty much the same mechanics? And PVP is being released!!! With a 2.5second GCD and major game delay for anyone that doesn't live in East Canada.

I really do want to WANT to play this game, obviously being a Final Fantasy game I've tried everything to make this game a fun experience for me. But I just don't see any hope.

I play probably 3 hours a day on weekdays, and maybe all day at weekends. I still have a lot of things to do.

Only recently started Coil, and we're only on Turn 2. But that's only with regards to end game content.

Don't forget, there is a whole game here where end game is a very small percentage of that. This game is meant for everyone of all level ranges and play styles, not just for those who push the end game hard.
