Nope, they either do it when it inconveniences the least amount of people (which is what they do) or they do it when it inconveniences most and satisfies the least amount (which is what you obviously want.)

Actually I'm honestly surprised they have done the maintenance at the same time, usually in MMOs the devs will rotate the time so it's not the same group of people getting penalized every emergency maint. You are defending SE for nothing, they are servicing a global community they really need to start actually thinking about what that means.

It's simple things like this that SE constantly fails at getting. White knighting the situation doesn't help either.
