20 days is more than enough time to run your weekly limit on Myth and turn the game off. CAUSE there is nothing else left to do in AAR.![]()

I barely get to play more then 6hrs a week at best with the cray hours I work and well generally real life getting in the way - e.g. gym, family, friends and all that jazz. But I'm not quiting even with the maintenece's their performing, sure sometimes the 7am-10am GMT fixes can be annoying as i finish work at 7am and sometimes think a quick quest or Leve could be fun.
But the way I see it is if they find a new bug or security problem in the game and it needs fixing I'd rather they take it down short notice to deal with it before it spirals and we end up with that whole "insta-lv50" server hack from a few months ago or the market thefts/hacks last week.
Eventually it will settle into a once/twice a week maintence routine, until then learn to live with it or dont re-sub til after 2.1 comes out and play a different game in the meantime.
Can I have your gil

I don't think this guy really loves the game as much if he quits because of that reason...

Rather have maintenance everyday for one hour on weekdays... that seems more reasonable.
I don't blame you for quitting. The people here can't seem to get past their die-hard fanboy immaturity and put the shoe on the other foot.

I miss GW2 where you'd get a message saying an update has been applied, relog to get it. Thats it, no maintenance require... was so nice....
XIV is so out dated.
While I would never quit a game for a reason like this, I can understand the OP's position. If repeated maintenance are affecting your enjoyment of the game then I can understand leaving. I mean who wants to pay for something they don't or can't enjoy. What I do not understand is your reason for coming on the forums and making a thread about it. It reeks of self importance. Let your money talk and just walk.

I think it's rather a plea to SE, trying to voice feedback, make them understand why this is a problem. If the OP feels like that, chances are others too. While I would never quit a game for a reason like this, I can understand the OP's position. As a company who sells a product, it's invaluable to know why people might dislike your product/service or stop using it, because it allows you to improve—if people don't tell you, you might never know the problem. Whereas hearing "I love you / your product" is always nice, and certainly not said enough in this world, it doesn't help you get better at what you do.
