    SE should:
    • Remove exp reward from FATE's, forcing players to level up in parties or solo so they learn to play their class/job properly ready for endgame.

    • Make all quest items U/U so players don't flood the market with them. Instead they should have to either use them, convert them into materia to affix to their next set of gear or npc them.

    1. Players might just want to level an alt to have the AF gear and not necessarily use it for dungeon runs moreover partying or doing dungeons extensively does not "teach" you how to do end-game dungeons, every run after the first is as brain-dead as FATEs.

    well "Final Fantasy " is about turn base since the first FF and people who hate slow and turn base games shoulden't get invold with the series but FF in general has change so much over the years so then again This dosen't apply anymore.

    It's because people don't know what they have until its gone. Most people didn't realize the joy they got from sitting on the airship, chatting with friends, and thinking back of the few battles they just had that were tough and wild and totally fun. Sitting back and enjoying it all while waiting for the airship to reach its destination to continue that adventure.

    Now that they can't do that, and now that there are no real "epic battles" or anything of note worthy, they are starting to realize just what they lost. They didn't so much lose an annoying game mechanic like they thought, they lost their depth and enjoyment to a degree instead.

    Woah... I just realized... Are you the Dakkon I used to play with on Shiva about 6+ yrs ago? For some reason seeing Dakkon - Shiva - FFXI rang a bell deep in my sub conscious...

    Why is crafting a separate job again if DoW/DoW have priority? If you don't want RMT to sell ilvl 90 crafted items then why don't you just implement unique gear crafted by unique dungeon drops?

    Actually , her opinions ( as you say ) are the actual truth.
    I agree fully with your assessment of the game and i came to the same conclussion as the TC
    I ran every dungeon soooo many times to get every bit of gear for my tank that dropped, then my class quest just gave me better ,like WTF, seriously, why did i bother wasting my time , i should have just run fates with the million other sheep.

    That was the first straw, the final straw was running 2 dungeons over and over to get tomes to buy better gear, i gave up. Im not doing that, its beyond pointless and not fun at all.
    Yea, ive unsubbed, its a shame, the game had promise...O well, heres looking at you wildstar and ESO

    This is EXACTLY what is wrong with ff14 and why it has so many mixed feelings..
    Ive been playing mmo's for over a decade. Ppl like me can jump into any mmo and understand the core gameplay in a few hours.
    New ppl to mmo's or casual players will struggle.

    pll like me wanted a mmo set in the FF world that had depth and adventure, theorycrafting and dare i say challenge. FF has none of these things.
    FF14 is the same as wow these days. Watered down generic rubbish for the masses .

    MMo vets dont really like it
    Casuals or new players love it .....
