What fandom? is that something you eat? I'm hungry, hey, I see you eating that pizza! I want some!
YAH YOU, HELLO THERE, I SEE YOU BEHIND THAT SCREEN! WHO DO YOU THINK I'M TALKING TOO SILLY
When you see someones glamour with non matching boots
<<<<<One thing to point out, where you talked about larger zones, etc. 1.0 did have larger zones. The problem with making one gigantic megazone rather than a bunch of smaller ones is ... hell of a lot more strain on the server than four smaller zones with five hundred trees each. It was creating a lot of LAG and undue STRAIN on the servers, so in 2.0 they chopped zones up into smaller pieces to keep the lag to a minimum. It was a sacrifice where, in my opinion, you gain more than you lose out on...
>>>>>>Would you rather have larger zones with a ridiculous amount of lag, or would you prefer smaller zones that run smoothly? Personally, I'll take the one that doesn't lag like a sunuvabish.

What I'd rather have is a game put out by a company which accomplishes the first while controlling to a minimum the second. This ain't it. There are definitely others which bring this to the table.
I even include as annoying the fact that it takes me three times as long to 'log in' to the Lodestone, and then get to this General Discussion forum. Not user friendly. Annoying period. What other site/forum do you go to that takes up to 20 seconds to load/change text pages???

----------------------Exactly Ventus, and to everyone who thinks it's acceptable because the game just launched or they didn't have enough time it's baloney. It's 2013, I watched a speech Yoshi made ...
Everquest was successful, their developers were probably dreamers at the time, that is what we need again, dreamers. Perhaps 1.0 sucked because the dreamers of that game didn't have proper structure, but to take away those dreamers and replace them entirely with Yoshi and his robots was a mistake...
>>>DREAMERS/Devs Who are let loose to take their creativity places + TECH KNOW-HOW + FINANCIAL BACKING.<<<
My fantasy is that one of us wins the lottery or becomes heir to millions from a long-lost uncle and we create a game for gamers. I absolutely believe there can be a other mmo's which are inclusive of both casual players whatever you definition of that is AND competition-influenced players. It always seems an mmo is one or the other - for the locusts, or slapped together seeking 'fast-in, and who cares if they are fast-out' subs...get that moolah up front.
If I had enough money, I would do it - it could be one of my little tax-write-offs and I'd keep it going for at least 10 years. Le sigh. So instead I inform myself as much as possible, then put my money where my continued interest is for ... awhile. For a reasonable amount of time. Then I decide. I have lots of other entertainment choices in my life and this is only one of them, though admittedly one of my favorite.
So wish we were allowed to EXTENSIVELY LIKE posts. *Huge thumbs-up to Yoko!!
