    IF you can summarize Dynamis into what you have, without including any type of progression, or scale, or increasable time limit, or anything like that.

    No, not dungeons. Dungeons are a strict, over-limited, peice of poop. Dynamis was an overtly massively scaled "this world that you're in, it is not meant for you" where every mob had the potential of splitting your face.


    Imagine if you entered a dungeon, and EVERY MOB was able to use a L2 LB on you, or their allies. And bosses, all 8 of them, used L3 LB. And the final boss did repetatively.

    Now that sounds more like dynamis.

    EDIT: Oh, and make it an actual race, where you need to deviate to part X in order to increase the time limit. So say, AK, with a time limit of 90m, but you start with only 10 minutes, and the Hippogriph pack that sits past the dullahan on the far side of the courtyard? THere's a 10 minute extension. Where the money chest is? Throw some sort of mini boss and there's a 15 minuter. Things like that. That's dynamis. Pulling the obscure and out of the way mobs for a REASON.

    Hell yeah, that's what dynamis was ABOUT! I mean, you say yeah right, but it's been done. Beautifully at that. People literally FEARED summoner mobs that woke up. I mean, give me an event where 56 v 1 results in 56 people being terrified that the 1 wont fall before they all get obliterated.

    That's what Dynamis is about. not 'Yeah, dungeons'

    Every trash mob is a boss. A fast dying boss. But each one posesses the ability to make someone eat dirt. Usually multiple people. Then you go to the bosses, and they have some twisted mechanic where they had to be kited, or were even more deadly. I just can't fathom how anyone would turn dynamis into 'well it's just dungeons'. Dungeons are places where you kill mobs that some classes could solo, where dynamis pits more than 8 times the amount of people (in most cases) against the same single mobs, and you coordinated which you killed when and why because all of you were at the mercy of whatever goes wrong.

    I think we played different dynamis. Where did you get these single mobs killing a whole alliance? (besides the silly smn 2h of course)
    And dynamis allowed more than 18 people. If you died in dynamis it was because you pulled half zone, or woke up an avatar.

    I assume you were stun-locking Monk 2hr? Swap tanking Warrior 2hr though mighty strikes wasn't that bad, could oneshot others though? Probably also stun-locked RDMs. And WHM's just made it tedious.

    NEvermind the WHM bosses who would constantly re-benediction.

    Some People jsut dont remember how it was to go into Dynamis Sandioria with 30-35 People not having 1 single BRD and the Million-Eyes BST Pets from the Mobs just used Paralyzga and Silencega on the whole PT and no1 could sleep em.

    Ranger Mobs they randomly one-shot People with EES, MNK Mobs they killed your Tanks if no1 used stun. NIN Mobs they used Mijin Gakure which sometimes killed the half alliance by not having up barfire.

    Going in with the Max. Members in the classic zones (sandy,jeuno,bastok,windurst,beaucedine,xarcabard) wasnt ass beating at all but alteast every single Mobs could have dropped your AF you wanted from this Zone.

    In Dynamis, every mobs had their 2H. Some are amazing like the SMN or the MNK one, some are ridiculous like the THF or the DRG one (especially after they changed the 2H for the DRG class but not for the beastmen).
    In this game we don't have 2H and I don't see why a mob should have a LB. He may only have one if it is in a party of 4 or more.

    Probably the only systems that could be added are:
    - random generated instances (like nyzul)
    - instances where you start with penalties and end with none (like salvage). of course you cannot start without a weapon. maybe without the soul crystal.
    in that way you cant do anything "new" because it will always be : kill stuff, then diferent stuff.

    pointing differences between dyna and a u dungeons
    - trash are worth farming, (and exept xarca you only go to farm 'em)
    - no fixed number of player

    also some dyna pull had more monster in than whole AK

    You cannot say that dynamis was hard because you had a bad setup or people didn't do their job.
    Even Titan is invincible if the healers don't full a tank before mountain burst or don't heal enough during stomps or DPSs don't buff theirselves to bring the heart down.

    We got coil, people complain that RNG is too random. (old style)

    Just because the puller was bad or people wanted to skip all of them and you know the latter is something XIV will not allow.
    Again, nothing in this game even comes close to dynamis. Nothing. the closest would be coil. And that's sort of a maybe because it's broken down into multiple parts and not just one really long timed instance. I hope they introduce it. Raiding Gridania and Limsa sounds like tons of fun.
