No offense, but this is very possible. I'm currently looking at I believe 3300 as my highest Inner Beast heal (give or take 100), not including Blood Bath's heal from the same attack. If I wasn't in Darksteel/Darklight, I imagine I would be able to hit 3600-3700.

My highest Inner Beast that I've noticed was 3741. That was with Berserk, Internal Release, Maim and Storm's Eye on one of the mini-boss ADS in turn 2.
Most of Marauder Power Boosting abilities e.i Internal release, Berserk, Raging Strike, Blood For Blood are off the GCD and all can be weaved between attacks really quickly. Jump however have long animation cool downs which are almost like having it on the GCD. Also all the jumps have 3min cool downs the added DPS is small because you have to factor Jump Damage divided by 180secs = added dps.
Marauder will need to be putting up Internal Release and Straight Shot just for a chance to do a Crit to boost their damage - that all will depend on their use of their CD suite. Straight shot is a deviation from your normal rotation, costs TP, costs a GCD, and needs to be put out just as often as Maim.
How are you able to do this as WAR ? Allagan Axe ? Str Potion ? Food ? What Mob was this on ?
Makes me even more excited to see our full potential.
This comment really makes me think now. Outside of BLM, i havent seen any othere class hit this much with a non-relic weapon. Can anyone besides BLM post pics of high damage like this with non-relic?

I'll try to get an SS of my Damage with Unchained/Maim/Berserk/Storms Eye. My Damage gear gives me an added 45~ Strength from what is showing on Lodestone right now, but I actually tank on my Coil runs, so the added Vitality is too important to show something on a Boss fight in Coil.
I will attest to saying that I may have hit harder with some other unforseen buffs up, and I will concede that to my static party makeup, but I typically Crit over 1000 with Butchers Block when I'm buffed up in AK. (I always unchain/Berserk after Storms Eye) And thats without the 2 bonus buffs in this screen shot were talking about.
That all being said, the issue which seems to be ignored a lot in this thread is still Enmity draw. Dragoons and Monks will out damage us if we can't use Butchers Block. Both of those Jobs can take advantage of their full suite of attacks.
One thing I am very happy to see though, is the Paladin Damage idea that was floating around. I'm so happy that's been completely de-bunked finally. We deal plenty more than Paladins.
I just think that if were talking about Burst damage on a class, it's possible we can push out the largest number, but thats for 1 attack, being followed up by 5 seconds of nothing. That 5 seconds is a HUGE detriment to sustained damage over time. And you can't just ignore the Limit Break, because it is there for a reason, and it's usable by the other Melee classes. If were talking about Huge Burst potential, then look no further! it will be used in every boss fight. It's a tool they have that we can not use.

I wonder why he choose to say Marauder and not Warrior...maybe im reading to much into this.
Theoretically, with food, potion, STR character in party, a strength build, and full ilvl90 gear, you should be able to top 4000 heal from IB crit under berserk/maim/SE. You can also theoretically top 1700 damage with MRD BB crit under all aforementioned conditions as well as B4B and RS. That is the single highest-damage attack possible by a melee job (obviously, Flare bests everything). However, you'd need full ilvl90 gear to do it, which is a hell of a pipe dream.
