the retainer/market ward system will work, it just needs a bit more put into it. The game was honestly released a year to early, and I don't care how much others want to fool themselves this game is still in beta for all intents and purposes.

I'm sorry, but no it f'in won't. It's a fundamentally flawed concept that has NO FEASIBLE SOLUTION. The amount of overhead that's incurred for trying to make simple transactions is a gigantic strain on server and client hardware; and it renders the whole system awkward at best.

I'll say it again for the millionth time: there is nothing that this system does, that couldn't be made better, faster, friendlier, and more convenient if they went with an NPC-less model.

Wrong, both Aion and WOW allow you to paint any gear on your character by Ctrl + Click.

Like how we purchased items or viewed history in FFXI. A generic "menu" button on the AH list brings up a menu from which you buy or preview an item (and whatever other options they decide to add).
