I join many different runs, I just don't care and I push for the most.

My "static dps" (two friends of mine) presently have a garuda blm staff and ifrit brd bow and we clear in 17 minutes.

Relics aren't necessary.

I am a relic pld, but i have no delusion that we're killing that much faster because of my sword.
