You do NOT join an MMO because you jump, I have never in my 2x years of online gaming heard someone say:

"I WANT TO PLAY THIS MMO BECAUSE I CAN JUMP! ^__^"

No, but I've heard plenty of people complain when they find out they can't jump in a game. FFXIV became a laughing stock of the gaming community, and the lack of jump was in the list of 'cons' in bad reviews that did indeed state the lack of ability to jump was a turnoff.

I set it to start right where MikeB asks Tanaka about jumping (8-1/2 minutes in). It's actually a much longer clip. I recommend watching it in its entirety if you haven't before. It shows you some things that can really make or break an MMO.

And, yes, I agree. Tanaka made some bad decisions and just wasn't good with the public. It was time for him to go.

I meant it was time for him to stop being the 'face' of this game. Yoshi-P has now stepped into that role.
