What about people that have G19/macro keyboards, or macro button mice? Those all use 3rd party software to work. Would you get banned for using those?

What about XSplit to record my games. that's a 3rd party tool. Or Team speak to communicate with people I'm playing with?

Basically, you're not going to get banned for using a VPN to access the game. The clause is there to prevent people from using 3rd party tools to cheat. A VPN is not cheating.
