Titan is easy if you have your movement option set to legacy.

this cannot be stated enough. It's unfortunate that "Standard" mode is the default since it gives the player a significant handicap when it comes to movement.

I would have to agree. I haven't done Titan HM yet, but I can appreciate the sentiment. When I showed a friend of mine who is relatively new to the game the legacy controls, it was like the heavens opened up and angels started singing to him.

The problem is Legacy mode camera is not legacy mode camera at all. It does not work the same as the camera did in 1.0.

What Legacy mode does do is allows your character to run in any direction freely without the back peddling. However there is no camera follow option on Legacy Mode. This caters to controller users and players who like to steer with their mouse.

On standard mode there is a camera follow option which is what I prefer. I surely don't mind moving my camera in intense situations when I need to but in general gameplay I'd rather my camera just follow me. Now the standard camera option raises 2 issues.

1.) The freakin back peddle! OK no one has any use what so ever for back peddle, no one likes it! Just take it out!
2.) Auto Face Target will make your camera jump every time you change your angle

What used to happen in 1.0 or "Legacy" is:

My camera would follow me and smoothly transition as I faced a target and I could move in any direction freely.

If I pressed "S" (default) my character would run toward the screen. He would not back peddle.

There is a couple fixes possible.

1.) Remove back peddle or allow us to toggle it off.
2.) Add camera follow to Legacy.
3.) Have the camera smoothly transition to follow when you face target rather than snapping to position.

All of these are just quality of life actions. The game works fine and I've grown used to the new settings. But they did take some time to adjust to.

And for real SE... Back peddle... WHY?
