IS it just me... or is FFXIV boring?

Let`s see what have you done in 2-3 months...... 1 Lv 50 and a few -30lv oooo , you have still plenty of content to do . Old or new , does it matter ?

nope i have done all the content currently available to me, redoing it over and over again just for the sake of being loyal to this game is not more content!

oh and before the flames start about me not finishing coil, cant help the fact se gimped me from the get go. anyways really do not need to explain myself to you guys. sub is cancelled se lost another account have fun in the obsolete crystal tower!

I've never had an MMO get as stale so fast. I was done with rift since I didn't like it's direction since f2p, and looking for a new game to occupy my time. I now find myself logging in only for coil, and the rest of my time I fiddle around on forums and twiddle my thumbs and eventually log on rift for 10mins, then remember why I left. Even logged on Diablo 3 for a while.

It's pretty bad that I'm logging into older games that I don't even like over what should be a fresh new MMO ( never played 1.0 or even XI)

Combat content is nonexistent. You have coil, and that's it for challenging raids.

I'd really love if people would stop using WoW as an example for Endgame content at release.
1. It did not have more to do endgame than this game offers.
2. The endgame content (Molten Core Onyxia) was not playable until 2+ month after release because of server problems.

Except that wasn't the only top end content. Back at launch, Scholomance, Stratholme, and UBRS/LBRS were all technically raids. Scholo, Strat, and LBRS being 10 players, and UBRS 15.

So yes, it had a ton more to do at launch than FFXIV currently does.

Correct me if I'm wrong but UBRS wasn't open at launch. But lets count all of those dungeons 4 working Dungeons 5th would be Molten Core + 1 Arena fight Onyxia. Which if my math is right adds up to the number FFXIV has too. The preaetorium , CM, Wanderer's Palace, AK, Coil + 3 Arena fights. Okay given Molten Core was a large Raid dungeon something FFXIV doesn't have at the moment but still. WoW Vanilla didn't have more content. And if you look at the overall number of Dungeons this game has more.

Unfortunately, I have to agree. I have a whm I do coils 1-4 with which is my main. A 50 bard I've used for breaking down materia and farming mats. I've got botany to 50, mining almost to 50 and summoner/scholar unlocked at 30. Also did blm up to 26 for swiftcast. Right now all I'm doing is fates on my smn to rank up a fc I made with my bf. This is in hopes of at least being able to use fc housing without waiting for the possibility of personal housing 6 months from now. My bf has almost every craft leveled up which is why I did the gathering route.

We've been playing league of legends when we're bored with fates.

your delusional if you think ff14 had more content at launch then wow.
you could fit the entire world of eorzea into 1/4 of wows map.

and trust me, i do not teleport in eorzea so i know how tiny it really is! game is not worth the sub!
