You can avoid all the stuff on Titan if you're good enough (and easier for certain classes that can be constantly moving). That's not the point. The point is that you're not supposed to have a modern MMORPG where you can't tell if you actually get hit by an AE. In other MMORPGs, you don't have to worry about if the screen is lying to you. In this game, you do.
So according to you, everything must be able to be done even if you suck.
