Ridiculous Reason? I dont want to defend SE and their Support, but if i get this right the Mainreason for the LONG weekend was a single capital Letter, and if that is the case there was just missunderstanding at the Start of the whole thing. Due the System or the User, does not matter. Mistake was made.. who you want to blame on for that? SE? User? I dont think its SE fault to type in a wrong Number, but maybe they could have said "Please check if the Numbers are correct" and vice versa. If it was a mistake of the System it needs to be adressed in the Supportcenter, so they can fix it.

At the end the Character got restored and everyone should be happy, but i still dont see a Reason to say SE have a bad Support.

If I was calling to ask for anything, the result should not be:

"We cannot assist further until you fix the thing that we won't tell you is incorrect, instead keep calling until you speak to a senior staff member who will need to be bartered with to tell you that the missing information is a capital letter".

Please tell me you have been able to wrap your brain around that point?
