    Anyway I'm out for the weekend, sorry to have turned the thread into a discussion of DD summoner in XI lol. Was just a very fun and effective class to play and I feel it could be implemented in XIV. Remember this thread was titled "Summoner feedback thread", not "what's broken with summoner". The class works perfectly but is just not what a lot of the fans of the series was expecting from a summoner job. Some people like the way it's turned out, and some don't. That's what this thread seemed to be for, it's nice reading over everyone's likes and dislikes as well as ideas for the class. Hopefully SE takes the feedback from the players to make the class fun for the player base (regardless of which way they choose to go).

    Not popping Int pots until I/we hit a wall where we need more DPS.

    If you were to pop them, it would be with the first RS+Contagion rotation.

    My only problem with that is the animation delay, so would you use rs first then the pot or vice versa. As for the wall they cost almost nothing to craft I don't see a reason to not use them.

    -No reason to use them unless I want to shave, what, 5-10 seconds off a dungeon run?

    Not saying they don't have a benefit, but if I don't need to use them I'm not going to waste my time, or gil, getting them.

    Guess I should have mentioned for coil as I wouldn't use anything requiring gil for dungeons

    SMN mana severely needs to be fixed. It's so bad that I have to keep all of the X-Ethers we get from Turn 1 to 4 for Twintania, because I end up completely tapped.

    Personally, I don't have problems because during Conflag phase you need to pace yourself different so you can immediately bane+fester onto it, not to mention the mana you recover when conflagged, and mana you recover during air phase. There has been a few times where I've been completely tapped, but that's because I continued the normal rotation with Thunder/SF, and sometimes this results in a wipe because my timers aren't proper for a conflag, and at the same time the DRG either has no CDs, or the BLM is just starting UI/Blizzard 3 cast.

    Do you not run a bard?

    The same as every other SMN, but Aetherflow can't be used on cooldown for Twintania due to burst requirements. Even with Aetherflow on cooldown, we still run OOM on longer encounters.

    Bio II -> Miasma -> Bio -> Fester -> Thunder -> Shadowflare, then keeping DoTs up and Fester + Spur + Rouse + Enkindle + Contagion on cooldown.
