This.
I don't use rage of halone combo after a provoke I just rage of halone, at lvl 30 works well enough, but yes I've seen every bad paladin do everything mentioned here. Until I saw the post about riot blade - flash spam....I hit my head on my desk lol god some people are bad xD
Yeah, I've seen Fast->Savage->Shield Lob->Shield Lob->Savage->Lob. . .
I've also seen people try to MT Ifrit using literally nothing but Rage.
Fun times all around.

I got PLD to 50 Monday and started doing AK cause I had almost all Hopelite gear and I marked mobs 1-3 and the DPS still would do there own thing its BS so I stopped wasting time and added marking1 to Shield Lob.
Also people who have Relic+1 should know better.
#15 Using flash before combat. /facepalm

They don't because they spam fates for 50 lvls , most don't even know what threat is . They think its the tanks fault they got agro .
Maybe one day they roll a tank and go ahhh now I get it .

Had the exact same thing happen to me the other night. When the dps grabbed aggro away from me by attacking a different mob than what was marked they called me a bad tank X) yea..... I said ok...later guys and I just left DF
For PLD just don't use Spirits Within during the rotation. First Thunder you can hit spirits off the GCD, silence and interrupt, then keep going with your rotation. Next Thunder use Shield Bash, but if your GCD locked then run behind and LoS the spell. You can NEVER trust positioning or casting bars on this game with the horrible latency issues some players have. Some moves I'm so far away from the red-marked area on the ground that I may as well be in Narnia, but the game still thinks I'm standing in front of the boss like an idiot because of latency. I'll take my chances with instant stuns/silences instead of hoping the server knows I'm actually standing behind him.I'll add a 14th: eating avoidable casts. In AK, the first boss regularly casts Void Thunder that can be dodged by just running behind the boss during the ability's 3 second cast, and I've seen *so* many PLD tanks just eat it because "the healer will take care of it" (it's the only major source of tank damage in the entire fight; if you avoid that and interrupt Mind Melt, like the tank *should* be since it's on a 30 sec CD just like Brutal Swing, the healer can DPS pretty much the *entire* fight).
All DPS should know to gauge their tank's gear and damage accordingly. New tanks in AF with no relic will almost never be able to keep hate against you spamming AoEs, spreading DoTs everywhere, or single-target killing the wrong marked target.
