Boo. is all i have to say seems like with all the issues plaguing this game an attack system that works fine already should be low on the list. Devs have lots of work to do besides fixing what aint broke.

Its not just dumping auto attack on the current combat system. We are getting a brand new fighting system with animations to match. Besides, it wont be similar to XI or any other auto-attack so lets just wait and see what happens. Really its all you can do atm.

They are even going to redo battle regimen at some point, are changing stat effects/monster stats and difficulty among other things.

If you think the battle system isn't broken you've got serious problems. That's the reason they have spent the last what? YEAR trying to fix it, along with the targeting system. Personally It's BS it's slow as hell, FFXI worked great without the stam bar, as did Wow and just about every other MMO in the world ... NOT saying it should be a follower but come on, if it works it works. Sorry that they got to it first.

Edit: Also it gives you more time to actually talk to people in your party something that worked very well in FFXI.. yay auto attack Maybe this will not only fix the battle system but the seemingly mute community on my server.
