    EQ1 had the golden idea for end game and i have no clue why not one game .. even eq2 .. copied
    sure there were raids but what made eq1 end game so great was their AA system .. when i stopped playing i believe there were like 1900 AA"s
    You had to level AA"s .. there was no AA cap and there were progressive string AA's

    Why this was a great system is because there was ALWAYS something to log in and do to PROGRESS my character even outside of raid gear

    SECOND reason why this was great is because depending on the time you spent leveling AA's and playing the game your character would be stronger or more unique then every other character of that class
    I wish mmos would go back to this if someone spends 50 hours a week playing then yes their ranger should be stronger and be able to do stuff someones ranger that plays 10 hours a week .. its called COMMON SENSE dont believe me .. well then go spend 4 years and get a degree and get a job ... i will spend 4 months get the same degree and same job with same pay ... make sense right??

    The world firsts yes were in January with Rag coming in April. BWL was released that July. ZG was released before a world first kill of Nefarian though. AQ40 was released that next January and then Naxx following a month after C'Thun died first. Their content came out very quickly considering most games. I'm not trying to compare here, I'm merely pointing out that you can be raid ready in a short amount of time

    Oh no, we actually do other things the game provides, how terrible of us to do so! Clearly it was wrong for SE to include these other systems and only provide raids raids raids as fast as the sleep deprived can get to them. Never mind the balance, where's Yiazmat's Mother!

    I'd say SE seems pretty ready to me. Wow had a 3 month gap where there was nothing to kill once Rag was dead (6 months if you exclude him like we exclude turn 5). You can probably guess what kind of threads were posted during this time for Wow.

    Seems like SE is basically on schedule with there Coil expansion (patch 2.2) in March-April (personal estimation). (note: We can still hope for earlier content)

    I've stopped playing until they ban the hackers and botters and spammers.

    I got fed up with all the cheating and decided to stop playing until SE gets off their lazy ass and start doing something about it.

    I think it's important for you to establish what your specific definition of "endgame progression" is. Since the only true definition (within MMORPGs) is content that is accessible once you have hit the max level cap. For the time being, I'm pretty sure that includes PvP. There will be stuff available to those who progress enough through PvP, similar to there being stuff available for those who progress enough in PvE.

    When there are various means of endgame progression (max level rewards/goals for PvE and PvP), it's somewhat important to distinguish what it is you consider that to mean. If you don't, it's broad and general... so as long as there is something to work towards in PvP, it does qualify as endgame progression these days. Not sure why that's hard to comprehend for people... look at the words literally, and it would hopefully be an instant understanding.

    I'm going to just hop in to state that it may not be "end game content" as you say, but all of that stuff fills in the gap of this mythical thing you keep saying as "nothing to do". There are other things to do, they just don't include raiding and things.

    You aren't being barred from trying that stuff out you know. I don't think it has to be argued that there aren't a plethora of end-game dungeons and things to go, it's pretty plain to see. But the game just recently released and content will be added. If you're not interested in waiting to see what they come up with, then I don't know what to tell you, man. Consider, also, all of the little setbacks that the team has had up until this point (IE: Login issues, server expansions, etc.) that stuff counts against content development and implementation time too.

    These are world first kills mind you...majority of the community was nowhere near this close in progression with most of the Hardcore raiders. 40 man guilds were a huge hassle to manage/gear up and progress on fights. 8 people is pretty trivial. Less than 2% of players saw fights in Naxx40, the majority of players had plenty of things to do. Not to mention doing old raids to get legendary items that were still relevant the entire expansion made the old stuff worth doing.
