Hardcore speedster can probably do it in a day, 2 days at most.Fun fact, it was. Also WoW lasted a lot longer leveling wise and gearing up to even get into MC. Where as FFXIV you could level and gear up in a week and walk into Coil.

How many people complaining about nothing to do is going to try PvP? Just wondering.
Yep...this pretty much sums up everything. New content higher than Coil isn't even possible til 2.2, which is probably half a year away. I log on for 40 min a week, because there is nothing to do after clearing coil.Myth tome cap being per job and coil lock out timer being 1 week/char is the only thing holding this game back. I love this game, but how can I justify a $13/month sub for 45 mins(how long my group takes to clear turn1-4) of challenging/fun content per week? Then another hour of capping myth tomes for a grand total of 2 hours of content to progress my character per week? This is NOT a sustainable business model.
It's not even about the gear or progress for me anymore, I just want to PLAY, but I can't, 1 week lock outs for a 45 minute dungeon exist. This is KILLING the game for me, my LS/FC and a lot of my friends as well. Please fix coil lock outs and myth tome cap SE; ;
fact is SE messed up ... they skipped ilevel 80 gear which was supposed to be CT which was supposed to be in at launch ( they have stated this)
but they thought it was too hard and kept it back ... heres the problem with doin it now though people dont need ilevel80 gear to do coil we have passed 80 and went from 70 - 90 ... so adding ilevel80 gear now is just a waste of player and dev time.
I wouldn't really say it lasted much longer, most MC bosses were killed in January of 2005 which is about 1-2 month after release. Ragnaros was the only exception being 4-5 months after release and I think that had to do with farming a full FR set was a nightmare at the time.On release, Molten Core and Onyxia's Lair were the only 40 man instances in the game, thus Ragnaros was the first "game end boss." source http://www.wowwiki.com/Molten_Core

Always remember the Silver Rule:
"Treat others as they treat you!" ...or something like that.
Most people around these forums think PVP/Housing/Crafting/Leveling alt jobs/WK and AP is end game content or progression. Fan boys are blinded by their love to really see the games problems.
What game are you playing cos' it sure couldn't be the same game and server I'm on. Yes I'm on Excalibur and that statement has to be the biggest lie ever told. I curse everyday the amount of people in all areas getting in my way, try to do fates and you get trampled by huge machines and chocobos all heading in the same direction, wanna find a quiet place to synth...you should be so lucky. I was on at 2:30 am last night, people still doing fates, mining gold and darksteel ore, synthing...but wait...I didn't have to queue up to enter the server...OMG you must be right the game is dying...![]()
