show us your proof other than a few people in forums put up or you know the rest.
i guess you left out the fact people have
jobs
school
family
and gaming is not always a 24 hour a day thing.
Stats until you have them all you have is impressions. That goes for both sides. Based off the time you play in the zone your in you feel there are less people could be true or not until SE comes out with numbers we shall never know.

No, it's crowded. I walk down the street in Ul'dah by the summoning bell and there's quite literally *dozens* of people right there just grinding away at crafts. I can't go anywhere without seeing other players, usually several other players. I'm not seeing fewer people, I'm seeing more. I can't sign on during prime time without having to wait for space to open up. It's crowded.

Have you considered that it looks crowded because the people who are logged in are standing in town because there is very little to do?No, it's crowded. Can't read, can you? I didn't say "people standing in town" i said "people crafting". They're all doing something. Generally, the other people I see are doing stuff, too. They're doing FATEs, running leves, all of that.

So how about them 40-80minute+ DF timers for anyone not a Healer or Tank? When the game actually was crowded you got near instant queue times regardless of what role you played, since a lot of people were actually doing certain dungeons. Even Ifrit takes awhile as Healer/Tank on some clusters.
Me thinks you were not reading the forums for the first month as there have always been long lines for damage dealers in the df.

I read the forums but I was busy doing the dungeons as my Arcanist on day one and not have long queue times (Arcanist is a DPS)Longest I ever waited was 20 minutes and that was for stone vigil. The times started getting longer because SE started breaking the worlds up in which the DF selects which started to increase the wait times significantly.
As said, even if people "don't do/like" certain content, if everything truly was as crowded as people say there wouldn't be as long of a wait for certain things as there is just on a probability level.

What is this mythical time of which you speak when DPSes had instant queue times? So how about them 40-80minute+ DF timers for anyone not a Healer or Tank?
