alright im not saying theres not enough content in the game theres a crap load ... if you like doing the alt thing.
Alot of people dont play or like alts which leaves them with VERY little content in the game.
My main point is the amount of end game content is pitiful ( 2 - 3 hours a week) .
now before people start am i saying that content needs to be an upgrade for my main to be considered content? no im not
Am i saying that i dont consider the loads of alt crap in this game content ? no im not
I am saying that if they are going to charge monthly to play their game there needs to be more then 2 hours on END GAME content a week in which i can further progress my main
look at the history long term success EQ1 , FFXI , Ultima , EQ2 to name a few one thing all those games had in common was AT LAUNCH there was alot of END GAME content
Look at fails GW2 , SWTOR , rift , AOC , vanguard .. to name a few one thing that all those had in common was very little or no END GAME CONTENT AT LAUNCH
im not saying this is the only reason why these games died or those games lasted longer what im saying is IF there isnt enough content for people progress their main character each day then they wont pay for the game and it will have an effect on the games longevity

As far as FFXI there was no end game until NA launch with its 1st expansion "Rise of The Zilart" which was 6-9 months after the game went live in Japan.look at the history long term success EQ1 , FFXI , Ultima , EQ2 to name a few one thing all those games had in common was AT LAUNCH there was alot of END GAME content

but how long did it take to get a maxed level ?
FFXI endgame was Dynamis. Dynamis was added in the Rise of the Zilart expansion, which was released one year after launch in Japan.look at the history long term success EQ1 , FFXI , Ultima , EQ2 to name a few one thing all those games had in common was AT LAUNCH there was alot of END GAME content

Hell, the level cap was 50 (remember level 50 in FFXI for a minute) for a good 7 months.
You think *FFXI* had a lot of end game content at launch?
Ahahahahahahahahahahaha...<gasp> <wheeze>
Dude, FFXI didn't even have the Shadow Lord fight up at launch. No HNMs. Almost all of what became the real end game didn't come out until the expansions.
This isn't true at all. They are nomadic because they are looking for something new and innovative in another game. So far, nothing at all has not brought the same magic if you will that WoW and those before it brought. Most any MMO endgame nowadays is either
1) Rep Grind
2) Token Grind
3) Dungeon Grind
4) Raids are nothing amazing(uninteresting mechanics or completely bugged...see Twintania)
Once they realize this is just another WoW clone, they migrate or wait for the next popular game hoping it will be something different.
Every game has been like this, AoC, Tera, Aion, Warhammer, Rift, and quite possibly FF14 considering any meaningful difficult content isn't coming until 2.2. CT is DF which will be a joke and be completed at a max of 2 hours, still leaving people with nothing to do.

I don't think you played XI at launch if you think there was endgame content, because I can assure you there was not. Even NA release had no endgame. PS2 release is when we received some endgame (RoZ)
Yeah, but GW2 had another purpose than endgame. They introduced a dynamic world and a lot of exploration. There was no role (DPS, healer or tank) and its development is quite different from other MMOs in the market. That doesn't make it a fail, but a different approach to players. This game has its own purpose and they are introducing content as they launch the incoming patches. Guys, seriously, you need to THINK if this game is for you. Then decide if you continue playing it or not.
