Ff14 A realm unfinished

Oh no guys! You heard it here! FF14 is going to die because it has the same basic concepts (Get gear to get better gear. Leveling up. Dungeons and raids!) as every mmo in existence. How dare FF14? How dare it!? It's almost as if.. as if.. it's an mmo! I mean, who would have thought that an mmo is like an mmo? Call the press!

No, not every MMO required end game leveling and gear grind. Just the ones that are trying to replicate WoW was my first MMO expectations. For me, SWG was my first MMO so my expectations are different. I suppose I could twist everything you said with drama queen proclamations but it seems so dreary and elementary.

I played SWG too however you're comparing apples and oranges. SWG was a sandbox mmorpg. They cater to a completely different audience. If your enjoyment comes from sandbox rpgs then FF14 isn't for you. This is not an attack. This is not a bash. Sandbox rpgs is more about doing what you feel like and being a part of the world around you. MMORPG's such as WoW etc are about progression and becoming more powerful. Sadly there's not enough good Sandbox mmo's out there. I prefer both types.

However, this game will never be a sandbox mmorpg. Different genre of mmorpgs.
