this game is three years old not right out of the box the world cities and most of the lore mobs and quests existed BEFORE the 2 year revamp. so excusing the pathetic excuse for endgame content as "its launch" is BS.

seriously the pinnacle of the game as Yoshi keeps eluding to endgame being the start of the game which leads only to a repetitive dungeon grind is about as underwhelming as endgame can possibly be made. there is NO story to it (they return: Avatars HM) is a joke. that is not endgame its a pathetic cop out to not have to create what Final Fantasy is renown for "interesting story" they had 2 years to work out content for the 50+ but they decided to make it bland dungeon grinding for useless equipment upgrades because theres
no reason to even have that equipment no story or goal to use it on.

It's an mmo made in the vein of modern mmo's. This is how mmo's work. This is what most people want. Most people do not care about the leveling process. Most people want to experience end game and progress their characters to the maximum and beyond. No one wants to spend years doing tedious grinding in order to level up anymore. Most people who play mmo's don't care much for story either. Me? I enjoyed the story but I also enjoy mmo's. I play mmo's to make my character stronger and then use that gear to get better gear.

Really? Last I checked it's the same few people with mostly people disagreeing. As well as many people who don't know that these same topics pop up in every mmo out there. I also see people complaining about how at launch there was lag and server ques. That was really hilarious. It's almost as if these people never played another mmo before. XD

its mostly people disagreeing with the same overused excuses. Do fates/leves/level another job...etc... none of which are actually endgame items.
the endgame is NOTHING in this game bahamuts coil has no reason to even exist beyond being a dungeon they tossed in to keep the sheep happy with gear requirements high enough to force 250 runs in AK and a few avatar HM runs for a weapon.

You know what else is laughable? Not understanding that no other game other than WoW has arguably released with as much content. Even Sidious has taken note of that. His argument is that every MMO after WoW has sucked. Also stop with the "Should not exist." your argument is "There's no big storyline to it so it shouldn't exist." You're the only one making that argument. You don't even know what people are discussing. You're taking bits and pieces of what other people say and are trying to apply it to your own viewpoint.

P.S. I never once claimed "Go level up another character." "Go craft." My argument is this. No other mmo in a long long time has had this much end game content at release. There's also more people who are defending the "content" than there are with people disagreeing.

This game has some serious issues. "End game content." currently isn't one of them. More content is coming. There's issues in the game we're barely having addressed.

PS: people who think the endgame is a joke for he most part are leaving he game or maybe you should look at FC member lists and count how many characters have not logged in in weeks. its pretty retarded to not know that people who will be staying will outnumber those who are leaving on the forums.

Except most of these players ARE new. Most people couldn't stomach even hitting max in 1.0. I didn't even touch this game in 1.0 because one look told me it was trash. For most people it is new. Even most people who made characters on the legacy servers aren't legacy players. Also there's still plenty of new content. It's not a joke. Coils is not a joke. Again, your argument for coils to be a joke is that "There's not a big storyline going into it." That kind of logic is hilarious in an mmo which is about character progression.
