HM Titan Fight

Titan is rather easy. It gets much, much worse, and nerfing Titan would just let people progress into things that would utterly destroy them.

Memorize the rotation, make sure your healers are pre-casting (they shouldn't be waiting to cast, begin casting and cancel casting as needed), use your cooldowns wisely and you should do fine.

Titan is rather easy. It gets much, much worse, and nerfing Titan would just let people progress into things that would utterly destroy them.

Titan's easy once everyone has the gear and has memorized the entire fight by heart, but I wouldn't say it gets "much much worse," we're up to Twintania and there hasn't been a fight in Coil that has made anyone want to tear their hair out like Titan. Coil is easy crap until you hit turn 5, and even that fight never frustrates us because it's fun to try to figure it out.

Titan is just mechanically uninteresting. Your heart stops every time plumes go off (I'm talking non-FC groups, here.) because you know there's a high chance of someone being hit. You have to pray to every god there ever was that people don't fall apart once you hit the final phase, it's just awful. If you've got a good FC for it, great. But you don't really need a good FC for like, any other fight in the game. Hell, I've ran a few PUG coil groups for fun and they had less trouble than most Titan groups that are still actually progressing and aren't being carried by relic holders.

That's why I duty-finder Titan HM as much as I can, because it's also the only way for me to help other tanks (outside of my FC, I actually believe in a larger community and not cliques.) get their relics, because it's a pain in the motherfucking ass for a tank to get a relic because no one EVER needs a tank in pre-made groups, so you have to start the group yourself (typically hours of work) or Duty Finder it (also hours of work.)

It's just so poorly designed. It's an awful, uninteresting fight that doesn't even bring in a group makeup that makes a lick of sense. (Even Coil typically obeys the "2 tanks 2 healers 4 DPS" rule.)

it's not easy in df whatsoever, it's impossible. at least up till now, for the last 5 days it's been pretty much the only thing i've done and i've yet to have a success. the issue is the bomb rocks after elemental fury, at least for me. even if i do get past heart, which does happen occasionally, the pattern of the rock bombs right after ef is f'ing impossible. Remove that set from duty finder and I think alot more groups would finally find some success. this is way too hard for duty finder and is just insanely harder than garuda.

Use DF for practice only, other than that get a FC or a premade PUG if possible.
