Bard Nerfs Offically Confirmed

I find it very funny that some people claim that BRD and BLM are on par on their coil parser.
Well they just forget one simple thing:
The bard is using songs. -20% self dps. +20% dps to casters.

And still BLM and BRD are on par on your parser ?
What would happen if bard used no song at all ?
Well then there is indeed something wrong with BRD.

They are the only class having such useful utility skills and thus are mandatory. And in addition, they have an excellent dps considering they are not affected by mechanics, and are easy to play. As people said already, that is too much. They must trade off something.

Personnaly I'd rather seeing the bard on par with other DPS classes, but with the other classes having some useful support which would make them able to compensate the lack of a bard (on-demand silence and mp regen).

But this will never happen because it would require TOO MUCH modifications of other classes and then... only a bard nerf could compensate.

Seems you are misinformed on how Requiem works. This is actually the only song that doesn't have a penalty attached to it when in use to the bard and it is a -10% to elemental resistance unless under the effect of battle voice. This means, whether it is up or not, the bards output is unhindered so in turn means you are horribly skewing the truth of the matter. This and other misinformed -eyeballing- shows major inaccuracies when it comes to brds max output compared to other dps max output.
