Bard Nerfs Offically Confirmed

Well, they did it. Garbage players got Bards nerfed. My heart goes out to all you bards. May god have mercy on your souls.

I hope atleast now those players will be happy about it and don't aim for the next class to be nerfed becasue their digital phallus is still too small to compete

The people calling for a bard nerf deserve a long slow clap. So shortsighted and misguided.

Knee jerk reaction based on low skill misinformed players, not the biggest deal in the world and luckily I have been working on Monk for the single reason that I knew something like this would happen

When the nerf comes we'll just have to whine a little because "OMG there are bards that aren't doing endgame yet and are parsing far less than what they're supposed to!!" and we'll get a buff

Seems pretty obvious to me what they are planning on doing.

While any one of the content can be beaten with any class/job, currently, certain jobs are able to do much more damage than the other jobs due to having access to a certain cross-class abilities. We do have plans to adjust these cross-class abilities to balance out all the jobs.

We currently feel that the bards are a little too strong due to the amount of damage they can do without being impacted that much from the fight.

Sounds like a Raging Strikes nerf to me.

While I'm indifferent in regards to bard damage output, wouldn't it be better to wait and find out just what the devs are going to do before going off on knee-jerk temper tantrums? Nerfs are never good for the people playing a class, but before you know just what's going to happen, calm down. It might not end up being as bad as you're expecting. Don't be so negative all the time, you might get more enjoyment out of life.

Why should I insult a company who tries to applease their customers
If the nerf does make those people happy who were unhappy about the damage output of the Bard than it's good. Sure for some people who play a Bard as main it's kind of a problem because now they feel a bit useless through the damage loss. It's not like it becomes totally useless
Oh and it's not a double standard please search for the correct definiton xD

It's a double standard cuz you insulted the players with less skill while not insulting the only people responsible for implementing the change: Square Enix.
